Queens Head Inn

We booked to stay here as we were attending an event at Audley End House which is only a 15 minute walk away. The staff were friendly and the manager, Anna, was lovely. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The bar has a good selection of draught ales and the food was very nice and home made. We would definitely stay again

We stayed over for the quiz night and had a great night. Great food and very friendly staff made the night very enjoyable. Rooms were immaculate and with very comfortable beds. We also stayed for a roast the next day and they did not disappoint. All in all a great pub/inn. 10/10 would recommend.

I had a small retirement do here asking the pub to provide food and a few bottles of bubbly. The food laid on was fantastic: mini Yorkshire puddings with a small piece of steak in it, baby potatoes stuffed with baked beans and some stuffed with tuna, homemade sausage rolls, mini quiches, chicken wings, a big variety of sandwiches, a fruit platter and a variety of mini cakes. Everyone was raving about how good the food was. All washed down with some lovely cava. Great evening! We have been in to eat at other times as well. If you want a good steak, this is the place for it! We’ve had one or two here now. The price is reasonable too. We’ve been in for lunch and taken our dog with us. The place is very dog friendly and you can buy dog treat bags at the bar. There’s a pool table down one end which appeals to my son and a dart board. The pub often has live music events and we like to go to those. The staff are always friendly and I love having such a welcoming place just down the road from where I live.

Have now been to eat in The Queens Head 3 times in the last two months , since the new landlords took over. Couldn't get a table this evening as they were fully booked. The pub is noticeably cleaner than it has been for many years, whilst under previous management. The whole dining experience has been positive in every way, with excellent service from the host each time. We have eaten the Camenbert, Calimari, Crispy Halloumi, Scampi, Gammon and Fish and chips, amongst other dishes. All have been perfectly cooked with good presentation, obviously from a professional chef. They also have a very good, reasonably priced wine list, suitable for everyone. Please come and support this establishment, as it is the best it has been for many years and Littlebury desperately needed a decent pub.

When our car broke down on the way to Stansted airport, it couldnt have happened at a better place than right outside the Queens Head in Littlebury. Although the pub was hosting a private function, they made us feel very welcome as a family. We had to wait for the breakdown recovery so had a few drinks (family of 4 with 2 kids) the kitchen wasn’t doing food but when the chef heard one of my boys saying how hungry he was, he offered to cook them a meal which they really enjoyed. Just wanted to say thank you to all the staff there that day, you were all very lovely to us. We had a lovely holiday, despite the disaster with the car!

My partner and I were staying with family over the weekend in Littlebury. We visited this great pub in the village for Sunday lunch. The staff were very welcoming, the food, drinks and service was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend a visit here, and will definitely return, when we come again next time we are in the area.
