Sunshine Key RV Resort & Marina

This place is a hidden gem! The sunsets here are absolutely stunning & some of the best I’ve ever seen. It’s got easy access to the boat ramp, a small beach with chairs to chill out, and a nice shady playground for the kids, laundry facilities, & a gas station/store next door for last minute items. There’s even a pier that’s perfect for fishing or just watching the sunset. There are different vendors and food trucks on site. My favorite by far has been the Disco Fish food truck. It is parked right by the boat ramps—super convenient and so good! Willie, Ninoska, and the whole crew are super friendly and welcoming, always making you feel at home. You’ve got to try the fish croquetas, the pan con minuta (fried fish sandwich), and seriously—the fries are amazing. Whether you’re boating, fishing, hanging with the family, or just grabbing some great food, this spot has it all. Definitely worth a visit!

Love the site and staff will be seeing them again real soon…the place is clean and plenty to do. They even have sites that accept pets.

Great RV Resort, beautiful resort, lots of amenities, marina. You can choose to stay in the marina area, the bay sites with more trees and bushes, the beach area - with the beach, or the interior for lower cost. Close to Bahia Honda State Park, one hour to Key West. Great restaurants in Marathon and Big Pine Key/Cudjoe Key areas

We spent 3 weeks at Sunshine Key and loved every minute of it. Our kids loved all of the activities and events. Stefanie does an excellent job with activities! Some of the favorite activities we participated in were: ice cream social, glow in the dark pool party, kids bingo, kids STEM activities. There are so many places to check out the water and enjoy paddle boarding close to the campground—the dock area and sunset pier are not to be missed! We are looking forward to a return visit.

Great option for camping in the keys, everything you need, gas/Diesel station, marina, excursions, rentals, food trucks, sunset peir great location. Hard to find all of that wrapped into one place, staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely will return

This is our second trip here. The first one was ok but this time has been less than stellar. Our first day here we got parked, unhitched and unpacked and 45 mins later had to pack up and move to another spot due to breaker box failing. The spot we are now in appears to be the only site that floods and we step into ankle deep water when coming out of camper. Maybe this is what the Thousand Trails members get. Will not be back.
