Casa Das Janelas Com Vista

We stayed six nights at Casa de Janelas. Perfect location on a quiet street but centrally located near restaurants and markets. Room was very comfortable, breakfast good with coffee, tea, fruit and cakes available at all times. Staff was amazing- so kind and helpful! Recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay - the team was very communicative upon check in (especially getting in a bit late!) and always reachable via WhatsApp. We even had a little bit of a mixup with our check in and out dates and they were extremely accommodating. Highly recommend the neighborhood - accessible to many other neighborhoods and on a quiet street (even know Bairro Alto is known for bars). Staying here will make you feel right at home!

We truly enjoyed our stay at A Casa das Janelas Com Vista! The staff was very helpful and the breakfast buffet was amazing! The location was great for us, up on one of Lisbon's hills and room 11 has an amazing view over the city! We were on a quiet street, so we had a peaceful experience. However, it is good to know that some of the streets in the area are a little seedy in our opinion and additionally, the neighborhood is hip and can be a party scene. However, bars and restaurants are located at least two blocks away and did not affect us. This is not a place for you if stairs are an issue. This is an older building and does not have an elevator. From the street entrance you go downstairs to reception and breakfast, and all of the rooms are on upstairs floors. We felt perfectly safe, but there are some streets I would not want to be on after dark. It's a bit of a walk to get to activities and sights outside the neighborhood. Lisbon is known for its hills and this location will definitely require climbing. Amazing breakfast buffet! A nice honesty bar has a variety of options.

Really enjoyed the stay here. We were on the top floor (4th) with a beautiful view.

There was an issue with the hot water so we had to shower in the employee’s bathroom of their sister property. I also woke up with insect bites around my arm and leg (although I slept with the windows closed). I am not sure it it was bed bugs or some other insect but definitely not a mosquito. The sheets and everything looked clean but something was off.

An amazing stay It was an amazing stay at Casa Das Janelas Com Vista from the moment we checked in till after we checked out. Rooms are really nice with good beds and a big well equipped bathroom. The lounge area with self serve coffee and tea, is a nice hang out area and the breakfast is AMAZING and can really be recommended. We were several people staying there and agreed that when we come back to Lisbon, this hotel will be our preferred place to stay.
