Our stay at the hotel for a wedding was overall fantastic. The location was breathtaking, providing an idyllic setting for the occasion. Although we didn't explore the spa and golf facilities, they looked inviting. The breakfast was a delightful mix of traditional English and continental options, starting our day on a high note.
The only hiccup was the lack of assistance with our luggage to our room across the car park, a tricky trek in high heels, especially with the unpredictable weather. Fortunately, the rain paused, easing our journey slightly.
Despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and would recommend the hotel for its stunning location and delicious breakfast, with a note to be prepared for a bit of a walk if your room is further out.

Stayed here for a friend's wedding this weekend! Had an apartment for the night. Was very nice and well equipped even had tea, coffee and milk in the fridge which wasn't expected as self catering. Unfortunately didn't sleep very well as bedrooms where so hot. Couldn't get any aircon to work and not sure the rooms even had it in them. Then realised in the morning the towel radiator in the ensuites left on full heat presumably by housekeeping so that didn't help along with the hot weather. Alot of noise of people walking past the apartments in the early hours too and cars reving waking us up! Used the spa facilities in the morning and they were pretty unimpressive too...not very clean and could do with a refurb. Run down and didn't feel very clean and spa like which is a shame as was looking forward to a relaxing spa.

We only had a 1 night stay for a wedding but wow what a place. It seemed every amenity was on site. At check even though late on a Saturday night the staff were welcoming at extremely helpful in fact showed us to our ecopod even though it was raining.
The ecopod was nice and basic but the clue is in the name. Our breakfast which was included was absolutely brilliant well presented well cooked and filling again all staff couldn't have been more helpful.
Check out again was a pleasant experience and we would not hesitate to stay or visit if we were in the area again.

Lovely hotel
Swimming Pool great. Staff within pool side were lovely and helpful. Gym huge!
Free towels but £10 for robes. £2 for slippers.
Eco pod great, showers only x3 were lovely.
But very small to get into.
Restaurant average!
Breakfast a buffet!
Receptionist SUE was fantastic, very helpful and friendly. Knowledgeable and kind.
Bar staff rude! No manners young lad.
Typical golf hotel.

Fantastic experience with Imogen at the spa - her massage stood out as one of the best I've ever had. She must have magic hands! Michael in the restaurant was so warm and friendly, he truly went above and beyond to make us feel special and he went out of his way to come and say hello at two other meals even though he wasn't serving in our area. The décor, music, and overall vibe, as well as the early check-in were all massive positives. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped with comfy beds. Lovley grounds too. The only downside was the drink prices at the restaurant and bars - way higher than average for this level hotel.

We came away with friends for a relaxing spa break. I felt that the pool area was so poor, the water in all pools, spa pool and whirlpool was cold!I'm so disappointed. The jets in the spa pool hardly worked. There were also too many people using these facilities that there was nowhere for us to sit and relax. We had to put our towel on the floor, not luxury at all. The whole area felt tired, which when you go for a spa weekend, let our experience down. Sadly, I will not be recommending this anytime soon.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff from the moment of booking through to departure!! We booked the One Night Wonder package which is incredible value for money! The food was exceptional both the 2 course dinner in Kings Restaurant and the buffet style breakfast the next morning! The spa facilities were lovely, clean and tidy! Perfect relaxed environment! The grounds and hotel itself is stunning … I loved my stay here and already trying to plan my next visit!!

The hotel is huge it is lovely but I’m sorry to say the food let it down it was a carvery and to be honest I didn’t enjoy it sadly it was like eating a frozen ready meal obviously the three meats on offer looks lovely you could only have two slices of the three joints on offer the vegetables were bland and boring the potatoes were I Would think frozen ones as were the Yorkshire puds I did mention the meal wasn’t what I expected and I had a free coffee hunny had a free dessert but my advice would be eat in the pub down the road The breakfast was continental but I only had a slice of toast I think it would be better to have a few different food choices on a menu to choose from Sorry but it didn’t work for me
