"Olin täällä pari yötä matkan lopussa Sisilian ympärillä. Se on todella kaunis hotelli, suuressa tilassa, jossa on mukava näkymät, toivottavasti olisimme voineet jäädä pidempään. Uima-allas oli suuri. Me ei syönyt hotellissa muuta kuin aamiaista, joka oli monenlaisia ja runsaasti. "The Oriente hotel is a truly welcoming and comfortable structure. It is a three-star hotel where almost nothing is missing, composed of practically autonomous and quiet structures immersed in a delightful Aeolian-style garden. The furnishings are very original and historic, practically an ethnographic museum. The central street is 2 minutes away. In addition, the helpful and very kind staff gives all the information for excursions, taking care of the contacts for these and for transfers to each location. Good breakfast. Very clean and quiet room. Comfortable beds. Highly recommended!"

"This hotel has its ups and downs, with its location being its saving grace. The breakfast was mediocre, and the dining area small. The pool was out of service between 1 PM and 3 PM, as was the kitchen. The rooms have kitchenettes but are completely unequipped."

"The location is excellent, just a two-minute walk from the pier. The air conditioning works well, but the rooms are rather small, making it suitable for people who want to climb the volcano, stay overnight, and catch the boat the next morning. However, staying in a room with a view of the volcano from the window is a great advantage."

La Piazza Luxury Hotel & Spa

"I was with my friends, who had booked at this property, and we were "guests" at the hotel pool. My friends, who were also hotel guests, were told that outsiders could enter for free. We arrived at the pool and shortly afterward were told that entry would be €25. Despite not having been told anything at first, we decided to stay. Shortly afterward, they told us that in addition to the entrance fee, the management, instead of charging us a MANDATORY aperitif along with the entrance fee, would have charged us €25 in total. Not content with this, they told us—to "accommodate us"—that they would offer us a more generous aperitif so we could also eat more. This aperitif, I repeat, none of us had asked for, and one of the guys working there had proposed it to us on his own initiative, telling us it was included in the infamous €25 price. Moral of the story: after spending just an hour at the pool (and drinking tonic water, tea, and a spritz), we went to pay and the same guy told us we were supposed to pay €55 (that is, €25 entry fee plus a whopping €30 for an aperitif, which, I repeat, none of us had asked for). After minutes of insistence, during which all six of us pointed out that the price he'd quoted us was €25, we asked to speak to management, who ultimately "agreed" on us the modest sum of €35. All this for an aperitif we never asked for, for an entrance fee no one had told us we'd pay, and for an aperitif that was, moreover, poorly presented and with very little to offer. What shocked us, however, wasn't just the price, but the way this guy addressed us, acting like nothing was happening and taking back everything he'd said to us at the pool. Absolutely not recommended. Entrepreneurship is something else entirely, I'm sorry... they've lost customers forever, and we'll definitely spread the word about this awful, sordid episode."

"OMG — this place is absolutely heavenly! Well, technically, it's a little slice of heaven just off the mainland... Our room was breathtaking, with not one but two balconies overlooking the crashing waves. We booked half board (something I’m usually not too keen on), but I was genuinely amazed by the menu — I couldn't wait to go back the next evening! Lipari takes you back in time. Quaint, peaceful, and utterly wonderful. It forces you — in the best possible way — to slow down, unwind, and just let the world drift by. I wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Hotel Rocce Azzurre — at least once in your life. Trust me, you won't forget"

Residence Hotel la Giara

"The hotel is barely visible from the boulevard, but is located in a garden behind the buildings. At first glance it looks good, if you have good mobility. The rooms/apartments are spacious, the garden is beautiful, the swimming pool is shallow. It's a pity that the management hardly shows any experience, they are friendly and do what you ask, but that's it. This creates discussions that are unnecessary. The breakfast is good but monotonous, little fruit and not really the tasty Italian bread. Investment limited."

"The two girls of the staff are of a unique kindness to the world, series, precise and gentle. I hope to come back in a year. I have been in a volcano for 40 years and I have rarely been so good, even though the time was not very much, we have been cocktailed."
