The LingShi County Youth Hostel is situated on the southern side of the historically significant Wang Family Courtyard, where a brief five-minute walk allows you to immerse yourself in the ancient charm of the scenic area. The LingShi County Youth Hostel welcomes young travelers from all corners of the world. As an economical lodging choice targeted at the younger crowd, we provide complete Gree air conditioning to ensure your room is always warm and comfortable. Each guest room is furnished with an en-suite bathroom, shower, windows, high-quality brand-name mattresses, and a smart TV, all with the goal of offering an impeccable space for rest during your travels.
Since we started, we have earned unanimous praise from our guests for being economical and clean, particularly maintaining a zero complaint record in terms of hygiene. The LingShi County Youth Hostel is located within the Gaoji Fortress, which is one of the five fortresses of the Wang Family Courtyard, constructed in the 18th year of Emperor Qianlong's reign (1753), with a history even older than the surrounding Hengzhen Fortress and Shilu Fortress. The hotel's location was once the residence of the 26th generation descendants of the Wang family, who ran a pawnshop in Tianjin during the Republican period. Although it was demolished and rebuilt in 2015, giving the building a modern touch, we still retain the traditional cave dwelling structure to honor the past.
One of the hostel's unique features is its close proximity to the Wang Family Courtyard, a traditional residence showcasing the architectural characteristics of the Qing Dynasty. Its unique style and well-preserved condition transport you back to ancient times. By staying at the LingShi County Youth Hostel, you not only have the chance to explore the allure of this ancient architecture but can also deeply understand the rich local history and culture.
Moreover, the hostel's superb geographical location provides a convenient travel experience and a hospitable environment. The hostel is very close to parking lots 2 and 3, which is convenient for self-driving tourists for parking and transporting luggage, and it is just outside the bustling central street where guests can easily unload their luggage.
A mere five-minute walk will take you to the historically rich Jingshan Old Street, and renowned attractions such as the Wang Family Estate, Hongya Canyon, and Gypsum Mountain are only 10 kilometers away, ideal for half-day or full-day tours. The hostel's geographic advantage makes it an excellent base for those looking to explore the local history and culture or experience the natural scenery.
In summary, LingShi County Youth Hostel not only provides guests with a comfortable accommodation experience but also offers great convenience to self-driving tourists and those who love to explore on foot due to its prime location. It is the perfect place to stay for experiencing local customs, visiting historical sites, and enjoying the natural beauty.
