Akasha Beach Hotel & Spa

We had a great time, the facilities and service are excellent. We were disappointed with the food, both the breakfast, lunch and dinner. The only food that was tasty and appropriate for the hotel level was the food that was paid extra in the restaurant on the beach/pool. There is no free drink, the water is sold at a price 13 times higher than in nearby supermarkets. Even if you arrive very early all the beds in the pools are taken/kept, people keep them even while they go for a few hours to eat/sleep, but the hotel employees, unfortunately, do nothing about it.

Fantastic hotel in the perfect location. The staff was fantastic and the rooms was too, although we was put in a small room with limited sea view that we paid extra for. So I asked to be moved to another room and the following day we did just that and it was amazing pool and sea view. The front of the hotel you don’t actually get dropped off there by coach and do have a little walk up the street with your cases but put that aside and enjoy a 5 star experience

Will keep this short but in summary: Pros Lovely hotel - rooms, pool areas, dining areas all 10/10 visually Staff were all really nice, helpful and friendly Rooms were huge! We stayed in a standard urban chic with a jacuzzi (upgraded) Location 10/10, right on the beach/strip and views were incredible, water sports available at the beach Cons Sunbed wars in the main pool area unfortunately, but for us we preferred the rooftop pool (this was much quieter so would recommend) and there are plenty of sunbeds up there Food was very tasty and plenty of options but never hot! Would expect more options on the all inclusive package, lunch time pool snacks were not included and some cocktails (e.g. strawberry daiquiris) were not included. You could also only use the a la carte restaurant once during your stay, otherwise it was just the one buffet restaurant Check in process was too long/lengthy - waiting around 45 minutes to sign documents/set up room key on our phones and wait for someone to take us to our room

Where do I start with this 'Amazing' Hotel !!. We stayed at the Akasha Beach Hotel & Spa in August 2024 for 12 nights . A very light and modern 5 star which was spotlessly clean. Stunning main pool area , the rooftop Atmosphere bar with gorgeous views . Right in the heart of Hersonissos the Akasha is right on the doorstep of everything. We stayed in an Urban Chic room which was fine for the time we spent in there . Pool rooms looked lovely but never had any sun on them so not an option we would recommend. We stayed Half Board but found it great that you could swap your Evening Meal for lunch and sample some of the lovely restaurants close by. The breakfast had everything you could think of . the evening meal had a great choice but not always very hot which would be the only criticism I would make there . The beach bar and restaurant served lovely food and drinks too. Onto the Staff. What an amazing crew of staff work at the Akasha , they couldn't be anymore friendly and accomdating. We have to say a special shout out to Georges, Rafaiela, Elina who were so friendly and chatty and forever serving drinks around the pool . Another special thank you to Nada and her outstanding restaurant staff, thank you so much for looking after us on our stay :) A must to do at the Hotel is the Spa treatments by the lovely Elena and staff. An amazing experience , I would highly recommend treating yourself ! We had the best holiday and have already booked to return to the Akasha Beach Hotel in 2025 !!

From arrival to departure I can’t recommend this destination resort enough from the location, quality of food & beverage, service, ambience & tranquility it is a well deserved 5 Stars, the staff were attentive, well trained, polite, friendly & went the extra mile to insure a great experience, they were all a credit to the operation & experience received, will definitely go back again…there are more than enough spaces to relax whether poolside or overlooking the sea everywhere was spotlessly clean, bedrooms contemporary & comfortable, great selection of fresh, healthy food served all day, excellent Spa, lots of local activities on the beach & a walk away, some great restaurants within walking distance on the waters edge really great seafood & atmosphere everywhere - get booking we left yesterday & the hotel was fully booked for the week ahead - weather was fantastic & still very warm..

Wir hatten heute ein Spa Paket im AKASHA Beach Hotel. Die liebe Iryna hat heute bei mir ein Peeling, eine Cellulite Massage und zur Krönung Gesichtsbehandlung durchgeführt. Mein Mann hatte dasselbe Paket, jedoch eine klassische Massage. ES WAR EIN TRAUM! Ich habe noch nie in meinem Leben eine so entspannende und luxuriöse Massage bzw. Ein solches Treatment wie an diesem Tag! Die liebe Iryna und Emma, die Spa Managerin haben sich bestens um uns gekümmert! Neben dem Treatment, wurden sehr edle Produkte an uns verwendet und wir durften abschließend nochmal ein Dampfad, die Sauna und eine ruhige Atmosphäre im Pool verbringen. Es war alles sehr hygienisch und der Duft der im Raum schwebt ist unvergleichlich toll! Ich kann jedem der eine Entspannung mit verwöhn Programm sucht die wunderbaren Damen wärmstens empfehlen!
