Latitude 13 Degrees

I have stayed at Latitude my last 2 business trips to Uganda and I absolutely love it. It feels like a second home when I’m there. Big shout out to Robert & Ivan for taking great care of us. I appreciate you guys introducing me to dawa tea and attending to us and our guests during different meetings throughout the week 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Had a fantastic time at this hotel. Staff are real friendly and great breakfasts. If you need a taxi anywhere, ask for Bosco. Good rates locally or airport. Used him all week, very reliable, good communications, modern vehicles. Highly recommend him.

Very good service by the Staff and very good service from the shuttle service, Mr. Bosco Nkhonjera. I will definitely go there again. The menu and food is very good. Communication was always good. The area where the hotel is located is clean and quiet. The hotel can get booked very quickly, so make sure you plan and book ahead of time if your stay is prolonged.

I Was served by Christina, she was so friendly I like the fact that she was willing and happy to take pictures of me and I loved it… the food was very good on a scale of 1 to 10 I will give it 10/10.. I am very happy also with today’s weather watching the swimming pool while eating was a good view.

Fabulous hotel. Best in Malawi. I'll keep this short and factual as I have no negatives. Spotlessly clean, no bugs, every day excellent maid service and fresh towels. Great shower, plenty hot water, mosquito nets. We emailed in advance to change our double bed to two single beds and on arrival our room had the two single beds we asked for without question. 2 beautiful pools, gardens well kept and very pretty. Staff were excellent, extremely helpful and friendly from the reception to the poolside to the restaurant and the security at the gate. Very relaxed, calm quiet atmosphere, nice gym, free parking, wi-fi free for guests. The food from breakfast lunch and dinner was very high quality and tasty. Close to a few other very nice restaurants too. If you want a lovely, top quality, hassle free hotel to stay in Lilongwe, no question, go to Latitude 13 degrees. I am a UK citizen and have travelled all over the world so I have plenty hotels to compare to. Enjoy your stay.

I came for lunch in May and I was served by Christina, I had seared beef sandwich and the service was excellent, I highly recommend. She was very accommodating and I loved the environment and the food. Looking forward to going back again soon and try out more foods.

I had lunch one of the days ,the Healthy green juice and Beef stew was delicious 😍the waitress Christina served me with lots of love and a smile on her face…kudos !!!! Hoping my next visit will be spectacular as my first visit ,looking forward to try another meal 🥘 🫰🏽

Don't be fooled by the stylish modern look of this hotel. I booked this hotel with a firm confirmation letter and then turned up waited an hour and was then told that they had no room for me so I had to go elsewhere. Throughout the week they had emailed me offering a ridiculously higher price. Later in the week I managed to get booked in, however i had poor service. The switch for the hot water was off I was told to take a shower in the gym or wait half an hour. I did not have hot water from checking in Sunday 5pm until Monday 8.30 finally got warmer by Tuesday morning when I checked out. The restaurant however was amazing, incredibly food with exquisite flavours. Date of stay May 2023

We travelled for a work retreat to Lilongwe with my colleagues, with most of us travelling to Malawi for the first time and opted to stay at Latitude 13, Lilongwe since we'd previously stayed at Latitude 0, Kampala in 2022 and had a perfect experience. Latitude 13 did not disappoint. The meals in particular were consistently fresh, well-plated and very tasty. The food was the highlight of our entire stay! The rooms were quite spacious, and with decor that heavily represented the Malawian culture which was incredible to experience. The hotel is nice, cosy and with a warm ambience. The staff are dedicated and highly responsive led by the Marketing Manager and Head Chef who seamlessly managed the requests of my large travel group comprising of 13 adults. We spent majority of our stay in the boardrooms, in meetings. The lovely meeting room's layout and ambience certainly had our creative juices flowing, and it was the perfect venue to hold strategic, intense discussions that were softened by the beautiful room's decor. The only minor setback was that on the first night, there were extremely heavy rains which saw 2 rooms experience water leakage issues, and tiny insects creeping into these rooms. On reporting this to the front office, these issues were resolved early in the stay and my colleagues had a pleasant rest of their stay... Tip: If afraid of heights, avoid the long-stay two-storey apartments. Going up those flight of stairs is not for the faint-hearted. Instead, opt for a stay in the Garden Suites. You'll thank me later :) ... Overall great experience. Keep it up!
