"If it were possible to give more than 5 stars for service, we would. Welcomed at the alley by the manager, greeted with warm smiles and great hospitality towards the kids by giving us a free upgrade to a bigger room (based on availability). Breakfast choices were simple, healthy, and fulfilling each day. Really nothing beats a slow morning looking out at the majestic mountain. The hotel staff were all approachable and easily reached via WeChat, they really went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. Rooms were clean and spacious! They also offer a complimentary tea set, a free shuttle to an ancient town of our choice, and a free airport transfer. The hotel is a little hard to find at first, but we had no trouble getting Didi in and out daily. Would stay again if we come back to Lijiang!"

"I booked for two days as a solo traveler. The room was very spacious, and having an elevator made it much more convenient than staying inside the old town. My main activity was hiking, which meant my clothes would get sweaty and dusty. The hotel having a washer-dryer combo was incredibly convenient for this, but unfortunately, it suddenly stopped drying on the second day, which was a real shame. The room was well-equipped, though some amenities had minor imperfections. For example, the Xiao Ai smart speaker wasn't connected to the internet, so its smart functions couldn't be used; the hotel might need to ensure it's properly connected. Overall, at this price point, it's an excellent choice. I'd definitely come back again."

"This hotel is incredibly good value for money!!! First of all, the facilities are truly excellent; the laundry room, gym, swimming pool, and observation deck are all very nice. The decor is also very Italian, simple yet elegant. The location is great, very close to the old town. Secondly, the cleaning is exceptionally thorough; despite the prevalence of black furniture, there's hardly any dust to the touch! Finally, every staff member provides exceptional service—very warm and attentive! My husband and I were traveling together when the receptionist provided us with complimentary breakfast and upgraded our room. After checking in and adding them on WeChat, we could easily meet any needs they had. They also offer services like providing latex pillows, package pickup, and pre-ordering breakfast to take away. What touched me most was that around 11 PM, when I went to pick up my clothes (which the app indicated had been washed) to put in the dryer, a staff member was already putting them in the dryer for me, saying she'd deliver them to my room after they were dry! So thoughtful!!! This shows the hotel's excellent management and genuine care for every guest's experience!"

"My partner and I stayed at Pullman Lijiang Resort & Spa for two nights during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday. Overall, our experience was mixed. The highlight of our stay was definitely the villa itself. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was excellent—one of the most comfortable hotel beds we have slept on in a long time. We had two very restful nights, and the room provided a peaceful environment to relax after exploring Lijiang. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience did not live up to the hotel’s luxury branding, price point, or rating. While the property may once have been a premium resort, it now feels dated and in need of renovation. Many of the facilities and amenities appear worn, and the overall condition of the hotel gives the impression that it has not been maintained to the standard expected of a luxury resort. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. The Western selection was very limited and of questionable quality, while the Chinese options were equally underwhelming. Even basic items such as the baozi did not taste freshly made. For a hotel in this price range, the food quality was surprisingly poor and far below expectations. Having stayed at many other hotels across China, including less expensive and less prestigious brands, I have often enjoyed significantly better breakfast offerings and overall value. The dining experience simply does not reflect the premium rates charged by this property. In summary, if you value a large villa and a comfortable bed, this hotel may still be worth considering. However, those expecting a true luxury resort experience, modern facilities, and high-quality dining may find themselves disappointed. The accommodation itself was enjoyable, but the amenities, maintenance, and food quality need significant improvement to justify the hotel’s reputation and pricing."

Our first impression was the location of the hotel, their courtyard garden, and activity experiences that the hotel gave to all their guest. The hotel locates close to … gate. (walking ＜ 5 minutes) so that staying in the old town that doesn’t allow car has no impact to our traveling at all. The hotel’s garden was a stylist design of Chinese garden. The breakfast was plenty and tasty. Coffee with soy milk was great, while noodles were also delicious. It was a good combination of western and eastern breakfast style. The hotel also provided afternoon tea. They served good qualities fresh-made tea and coffee. Although the exterior design of the hotel’s building and surrounding are traditional chinese in old town, the design in the room is very modern! So staying here was very relax and comfortable. Hotel staffs took into consideration in details. All the necessary items were provided, including a very good quality pair of slippers. The toilet was also automatic and having warm seat. Hair dryer was also Dyson. The best part of our stay in this hotel was the very nice, friendly, and efficient staffs. They all are enthusiastic to help and warm. They gave us WeChat before we arrived in China, so we could contact them anytime. And they responded very fast. We felt very safe and comfort all the time while we were in Lijiang. The hotel also provided the free airport pick-up and drop-off with free of charge! They arranged everything, we just showed up on time. If we visited Lijiang again in the future, we will definitely stay here again and will also tell our friends and family to stay here too."

"Everything is amazing here, my wife and I love it! We highly recommend this guesthouse and we are definitely coming back to stay here if we are traveling to Lijiang again! Located at the heart of 古城，it’s very convenient to explore the entire ancient town and get food even till late at night. The hosts (hotel owner, shop manager 小德 and front desk 小杨) are super friendly and helpful. They got our room upgraded for free due to room’s availability upon our check-in date, which we are super grateful for this! They also arranged a driver to take us to Dali on our check-out day. Last but not least, they are very thoughtful and went the extra mile to arrange transport our luggages back and forth between the nearest entrance/exit gate and their guesthouse. We really couldn’t imagine pulling the luggages by ourselves on the rocky roads 😅 so a very big thank you to the hosts and uncle!"
