The hairdryer is ancient, looks like a vacuum cleaner, and it was broken. The AC in the room is weak, and it gets stuffy if you don't open a window. Breakfast was okay though, with a good variety."

"We stayed here for 2 nights and had a pleasant experience overall. It’s worth noting that this is more like a small, privately run homestay rather than a traditional hotel, which gives it a more personal and cozy atmosphere. We booked the family room, which was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The bathroom was also quite spacious and well maintained. The location is a little unusual, as the property is tucked away at the side/corner of a street. However, getting around is still convenient with DiDi. It is relatively close to Lijiang Old Town, so it’s a good option if that is where you plan to spend most of your time. If you prefer to stay closer to Baisha Old Town, this may not be the most convenient location for you. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. They provide complimentary afternoon tea as well as a ******* tea tasting experience, which was a really nice touch. One thing to take note of is that there is no lift. Breakfast and afternoon tea are served on the top floor, which I think is the 5th floor (if i remember correctly), so be prepared to climb quite a few flights of stairs! 😂 If your room is located on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th floor, you will also need to use the stairs every time you go up and down, which can be quite tiring after a long day of sightseeing. Luckily, our room was on the ground floor, so we escaped the stair workout! 😂 Overall, we had a good experience. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were lovely, and the complimentary tea experiences added a nice personal touch to our stay. Just be prepared for the stairs!"
