The owner and staff were very welcoming, helped with luggage, and were always ready to assist whenever needed. The guesthouse is centrally located in the ancient city, just a short walk to Sifang Street, making it convenient for getting around. It's quiet despite being in a lively area. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next year when I visit Lijiang."

Even though I checked in at 1 AM, he chatted with me for a long time, patiently answered all my questions, and thoughtfully recommended local dishes (the stir-fried mushrooms at Lanxiang Wild Vegetable and Free-Range Chicken Hotpot were incredibly fresh!). The owner is usually on-site, so it's super convenient to ask him anything – perfect for a first-timer like me who doesn't know much. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Dali. Wishing the owner great success and prosperity!"

The best part was the panoramic view of the old town from the rooftop; it was amazing for taking photos at dawn and dusk. "I must say that the service was really good. The staff is fast to reply even though it is now peak period here. Come early for breakfast if u are here during this time because there was practically nothing much left this morning. It was fine on the first day. I stayed two days. I think what attracted me to this hotel were the workshops and other activities they offer. It is also near shuhe ancient town which has a more rustic charm as compared to the other ancient towns. They are also a 7 min drive away from Muyu and Lan restaurant, some of their popular trending restaurants here. Overall the environment is very chill and has lots of green. You can call for a buggy to bring u to the main entrance or back to your room. The rooms are villa style which is refreshing after the minsu(s) I stayed in. Cleanliness wise esp the floor could be better, I gave the feedback and they immediately got housekeeper to clean up for me. A good value stay when you get the voucher on the app. I will come back again. Ps. There are 3 resorts in the same area which can be confusing. But just get the"

"The hotel facilities are quite old! There's no air conditioning during the scorching summer days. However, the service attitude is still good, and breakfast is decent. The biggest plus is the large parking lot, which makes parking very convenient. Compared to other hotels at the same time, the price is a bit on the high side."

"One of the most satisfying parts of my Lijiang trip was booking this hotel. First off, the hotel environment is truly wonderful. I could see the snowy mountains right from my room. Since I didn't want to rush out early and come back late this trip, I set an alarm to wake up, watch the sunrise from bed, and then go back to sleep! Secondly, the staff here are incredibly nice and provide excellent service. Not only did they upgrade our room, but they also helped us arrange transportation to the ancient town and airport transfer on our last day. Every day, they'd ask us what we wanted for our main breakfast dish the next morning, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of options, including fruit, and the coffee was really aromatic~ Also, the hotel's location is super convenient for getting to both Lijiang Ancient Town and Shuhe Ancient Town… All in all, I had a fantastic four-day, three-night stay at Yundu.
