hotel is close to north gate which is sooooo convenient considering didi cant enter the ancient city, the ancient city is very big and also its close to chagee!
theres no lift but got stairs so if you bring big luggage a bit hard to bring it up.
staff is helpful with the luggage but if you want to take care of your luggage, you can ask uncles who can bring your luggage using their cart for less than 5rmb
overall satisfied with the place!

Very good location, near north gate of the ancient city. So many food around the B&B . Also the room so cozy and the toilet have bidet

This hotel is conveniently located for catching transportation to other destinations and is situated right in Gucheng. However, based on my experience staying for more than two nights, the room was not clean. The toilet and sink were stained, and most importantly, the hot water was not working for two days (with the weather between 6–11°C).
On the first day, the owner said the hot water would be fixed by 10 PM. When I messaged to follow up at 10 PM, they replied to wait a moment. I waited until nearly midnight and messaged again but got no response—so I couldn’t shower that night. The next morning, they assured me the hot water would be working by 10 PM that night.
After a long day of traveling outside the city, I returned and got ready to shower. But again, by 10:30 PM, there was still no hot water (and the water was freezing). I went out to ask the staff directly. They said to wait a moment. Within 10 minutes, they came and asked if it was okay to take me to another hotel to shower (it was past 11 PM). With no other choice, I went. Although the hotel wasn’t far, it was still inconvenient.
That said, I appreciate the staff member who took me there, waited while I showered, and brought me back to the hotel. They also gave me a tea brick as an apology.
In addition, on the first day I arrived, I couldn’t find the hotel. I tried calling, but no one answered. There was also no guidance or offer to help with luggage pickup, even though the streets in Gucheng are very difficult to walk through with suitcases.😷

Located inside Lijiang old city. The owner will wait for u at the gate to lead you to the hostel. Duplex type, spacious but a bit noisy can hear noise carrying the luggage and people taking in the street

very nice hotel. the location is near the north gate, hence very easy to get DiDi and for driver to pick up. the staff was also very helpful and friendly. hotel amenities is good and clean.

房間清潔，老闆很熱情。可是客棧在古城裡邊，車無法通行，有大行李需注意。雖然出路口不遠，但是很費行李，最後我們叫了三輪車 RMB 15
