N'Tendele Lodge

We spent four stunning nights at N'tendele lodge and would have loved to spend more! Yes, the access can be seen as a bit long (1h30 dirt road from Lichinga + 40 mns boat) but then you have such an easy access to everything a nature lover wishes: beauty, quietness, simplicity, diverse nature activities in autonomy, respectful people etc ... Walks in the miombo forest (with many baobabs and other "funny" species and shapes) , snorkeling in clear waters with cichlids from the beach, nice breeze, nice talks, nice sounds, nice meals, nice views from everywhere and even otters swimming around (and I am not even going to talk about the birds, it will be too long) !! The place is incredibly beautiful and so are the hosts, all this creates such a stunning atmosphere where we just felt right. We live in Mozambique and we know how much this country is beautiful but N'tendele has on top this "something" rare and precious. Yes, it is far but once there, every beauty is close without any efforts. All the best to you, William, Edna, Marcus, your team and of course ... Jess

Tout simplement unique... Dans un cadre naturel préservé, le lodge s'intègre merveilleusement: la splendeur du lac, les baobabs centenaires, la vie sauvage qui s'épanouit tout autour. William et Edna ont fait de cet endroit un écrin paisible où il fait bon vivre, où le calme et la contemplation du ciel étoilé au coin du feu appellent à la détente voire à la méditation. Les activités sont nombreuses: balades en kayak, snorkeling au milieu des poissons tropicaux, observation des aigles pêcheurs, randonnée au cœur des bananeraies et des villages traditionnels... En plus de tout cela, nous avons pu goûter à une cuisine délicieuse et saine mêlant produits locaux cultivés sur place, spécialités mozambicaines et influences d'ailleurs. Merci pour ces moments magiques, nous n'oublierons pas notre séjour au N'Tendele Lodge!
