"Our first stop on our Chinese New Year trip to Guizhou. The guesthouse was clean and hygienic, with free sugar oranges in the lobby. There's a charming little garden outside where my child loved playing on the swing. Our room was tidy and came with a smart toilet. On New Year's Eve, we could see fireworks filling the sky from our room, though my child had already fallen asleep. The owner helped us with our luggage, and his mother even made us minced pork noodles for breakfast. The first driver we met in Guizhou was very friendly, our first B&B was spotless, and our first meal was amazing. It was a wonderful start to our trip. Libo, we'll definitely come back if we get the chance!"

Fortunately, I booked it on the way back to the city. The hotel is right by the Zhangjiang River, near the traffic police team, and quite close to the Libo Ancient Town and the food street. The hotel facilities and sanitary environment are needless to say! I must especially praise the beautiful sister named Pan at the front desk. "This time in Libo, I stumbled upon a great guesthouse. From an environmental perspective, it's not huge but has a very personal touch. Built into the hillside and backing onto the Zhangjiang River, it's a quiet and secluded retreat – truly refreshing. Waking up to a rooster crowing in the morning and falling asleep to the sound of crickets at night, with mountains and water right outside your door – it’s a big thumbs up from me. Now, let's talk about the amenities – there's a lot to say! While everyone else was visiting the main attractions, we were exploring the back mountain, enjoying the beauty of an 'empty mountain with no one in sight.' We caught rabbits, picked fruit, chased butterflies, did some rubbings, and played house. The kids were sweaty but absolutely delighted, having such a great time they forgot all about home. No crowds, double the relaxation, deep breaths of fresh air, and a slow pace – another big thumbs up. Often, the unexpected sights you encounter on a trip are far more charming than anything you plan for. Spontaneous, natural relaxation is truly the meaning of travel!"

The hotel itself is designed in a courtyard style, featuring a central patio, charming multi-story buildings, a swimming pool, and a small garden, all with a strong sense of design. The staff are warm and hospitable; during my stay, we encountered heavy rain, and the staff promptly informed us about road conditions and the scenic area status, kindly assisting us in returning safely. The hotel offers a convenient shuttle service, allowing guests to travel between the scenic area entrance and the hotel whenever needed. The best part was being able to visit Xiaoqikong before the main crowd arrived. Seeing the beautiful ancient bridge with only a few people there felt like a secret triumph. The hotel's service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. I even forgot my phone charger, and didn't even realize it myself. The hotel's service department promptly contacted me and, not long after, sent a dedicated car to deliver it to me. I'm so grateful to them! I'll definitely stay at Junlan again next time I visit and will recommend it to my friends. Oh, and the breakfast spread was also excellent!"
