Everything seemed great until ... I really hate to do "negative" reviews, but my experience at this location of Best Western put me in a spot that I had to say something. I stayed by myself at this Best Western location and had no issues booking, or traveling to the location. I was greeted nicely and was booked in my room efficiently. The drain stopper in the tub didn't close, but that was not a huge issue. So far, so good. I bedded down at 12:30, and immediately I noticed some wetness in the foot of my bed. It was located more on the left side of the king-sized bed and I kicked myself thinking I spilled something on the mattress. On closer observation, I realized that the blanket and cover weren't wet at all. It was a huge crescent shape wet spot on the bed sheet and mattress cover, soaked all the way through. I thought I could shrug it off, but by 1:30, when I couldn't sleep, I realized I needed to get some guest services help. I went to the front desk and spoke to the night desk employee. He wasn't rude, but he didn't act apologetic about the incident. He asked which bed covering needed to be replaced, took me to the laundry service room and gave me replacement sheets. That was all. He never asked if there was anything else he could do, or mention that he would talk to the management or room service team. It was almost as if he thought his job was done, and that was all. It was humiliating. At 2:00 in the morning, I was stripping my own bed and replacing the wet sheets that I was not responsible for. I paid to stay in the room and receive the services I paid for, but there I was, making my own bed. I'm not an elitist, or someone who feels priviledged and entitled, but the lack of responsibility by the staff was disconcerting. The next morning, as I checked out, I asked if the night person had reported the issue. I explained the situation again. While I did receive a small "We're sorry that happened. I'll make sure to talk to the laundry service", there was no sense of true regret, or "what can we do to make this a better experience?" I genuinely felt like no one cared. I will book at other Best Western hotels, but I won't go to this location again.
