Super 8 by Wyndham Lewiston

Very friendly staff easy checking in and quiet stay I love that they have a laundry room you could do laundry and they have breakfast which is a plus and I like that its by the river and close to the convenience store I'd stay there again anytime

Very Uncomfortable bed, had bed bugs, TV remote was taped together, faux leather chair was falling apart, bugs in the shower, and the continental breakfast was chosen for us, bagged up in brown paper bags and handed to us. Was Not impressed.

the place needs to be gutted and redone, everything there is old and gross. bedding looked washed but was clearly old, chair in the room was a tattered and warn out office chair, holes in the carpet, only lock for the window was a stick, walls and everything around was brown from smoke. the people running it were nice and they did what they could to have good service but you cant make a 5 start meal with ingredients form taco bells trash can.

I am not sure how this motel is a part of Super 8 or even the Whyndham group. AC do not work in some rooms, the dryer and washer are half broken and there's no breakfast provided tho it says breakfast is available

The place needs to be refreshed. If they would paint using white instead of whatever color it is would be a big improvement. No restaurants close by. Just a gas station is all. I had delivered a Mod Pizza and that was disappointing. Hard water stains on bathtub makes it look extra dingy and worn down. Edging at the bottom of the tub and walls was peeling away. They promised a "breakfast item" which I never saw. WiFi kept disconnecting and is frustrating. I brought my Roku device to watch movies and was constantly refreshing the WiFi. Key cards didn't work well. Cart to bring in luggage - the handle wasn't properly secured and popped off On the plus side, they did have semi truck parking. Easy access. Bed was comfortable and appeared to be clean. They also have an ice machine.

It was a nice place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Queen bed was comfortable and the internet was good. If you needed a snack the vending machine was full with a great selection. It was quiet at the hotel day and night.

I had stayed here years ago and they have cleaned it up. The carpet is newer where before it was nasty. The rooms have been painted. The tub was pretty beat up and the sink barely drained. The a/c-heat worked but it would not shut off. If you turned the heat down even to 64 it just kept pumping heat. I had to turn it off. The TV didn't work either. Just a blank screen on any setting. The bed was squeaky and unstable. The lights were tricky getting them to stay on. The only had a grab-n-go breakfast bag which did have a breakfast sandwich in it. Not too bad. It is still pretty iffy.

The staff and check in process was very fast and friendly. The problem was the rooms. Worse part was the smell. Could not figure out what it was, almost like mold/mildew. AC unit seemed dirty on the inside so we didnt want to turn it on. Lastly were the bugs - we had several flies in our room and I could not figure out how they kept getting in. We had read other peoples reviews about bed bugs so we were a bit nervous and slept on top with a sleeping bag/blankets. so we didnt take the chance to find out about that.

Had to pull out the bed to access an electrical outlet. Bugs ended up on bed, must've stirred up a nest when moving the bed? Building was also very noisy as I could hear the neighboring room and every car door close outside.
