Geschmackvoll und modern eingerichtetes B&B. Freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin. Dank ihrer Auskunft konnte ich die sehnsüchtig erwarteten Highland Kühe sehen. Abends waren wir in der Isle of Harris Brewery essen- alles hat wunderbar geschmeckt und als Draufgabe war ein wunderschöner Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten.

Schönste Unterkunft auf unserer 14 tägigen Schottlandreise. Schon der Empfang durch die Gastgeber war sehr herzlich. Man fühlt sich gleich heimisch. Die Zimmer waren modern, geschmackvoll und großzügig eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war super. Man kann selbst wählen was man möchte und zusätzlich gab es noch vieles zusätzlich wie Croissants. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Wasser sodass man schwimmen gehen könnte, soĺlte das Wetter mitmachen. Eine nette Geste sind 2 Fläschchen mit Gin und Whisky auf dem Zimmer die man ausprobieren kann. Bei schlechtem Wetter kann man im Wohnbereich schön relaxen.

Lovely friendly greeting by the hosts. Exceptionally clean rooms, great nights sleep followed by an amazing home cooked breakfast. Knowledgeable hosts who helped us plan our day in the south of the Isle of Harris. 5mins walk to the local shop.

This is a luxury B&B in a beautiful location. We looked out onto a stunning view of loch and hills. Breakfast was perfect, both continental and cooked, and served in a very elegantly decorated guest lounge which had French Doors opening onto decking and the glorious view. Owner and staff were very welcoming and efficient. Essence of Harris toiletries were a gorgeous bonus.

Grimisdale Guest House is in a great location for exploring the Isle of Harris. The rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. Bath Robes were included. The views are spectacular. There is a deck available for guests to enjoy. The food was delicious and plentiful.

We stayed 4 nights Great views over the water Shop 2 mins walk Carolanne and Roddy were wonderful hosts and we loved their company Local walks nearby Roddy and Carolanne very kindly lent me their golf clubs for a game at the Harris Isle golf club....amazing views and lovely course Beautiful breakfast Beds and room very comfortable Complimentary glass of gin and whiskey Television sitting room with amazing views Carolanne made us up a packed lunch for our trip to the Isle of St Kilda at no charge Highly recommended.

Lovely Bb with great hosts. Very nice decor and fantastic surroundings. Well looked after and very homely feel about the property. Beds a good size and very comfortable too. Rooms very clean and modern. Close to shop and in a great spot next to the Loch.

Roddy and Carolanne were brilliant. The room and bathroom were spotless and beautifully decorated. We were the only people staying so had full use of the living room which has a great tv and comfy sofa. The guest house has amazing views of the loch. Roddy and Carolanne made us a soup and steak dinner which was 10/10 - so good! We had a great sleep, the bed is super comfy. We woke up to a huge spread for breakfast which included continental and a fry up. Roddy and Carolanne couldn’t have been more attentive, we can’t wait to come back!

Great hosts made this stay even more memorable. The guesthouse enjoys a great view over the loch, with rolling hills and cute highland sheep all around. We felt cosily protected from the wild Hebridean weather outside. Our large room was recently refurbished and very comfortably and tastefully furnished. The breakfast was generous and delicious. And did I mention the complimentary whisky and gin?!
