Hotel Olimpo le Terrazze

La struttura è enorme e per un hotel a 4 stelle a livello comodità nel raggiungere le stanze e bellezza della stanza in se ( almeno dove mi hanno alloggiato) siamo sotto la media , arredamento primi anni 90 , però tutto era molto pulito e il punto forte di questa struttura rispetto a tutti gli hotel della zona è senza dubbio la cucina ….. sia per qualità che per quantità praticamente un “ All can you eat” solo con cucina di qualità compreso bevande ( cosa mai vista in nessun hotel )

There is no way to reach the hotel without a car but once there, the funicular and elevators make it very easy to get into town and on the beach. The property is dated although the pool is outstanding. And the scenery is truly spectacular.

Un hôtel bon marché et bien placé. Près de Taormin Visite de la Sicile en famille 6 personnes famille de 4 enfants - hôtel accueillant et bon marché en famille. Proche de Taorminie - Catane. C'est sympa avec petit déjeuner copieux et avec produits locaux. Dîner buffet très bon, avec produits locaux. Nous avons aimé.

Magnifique Magnifique hôtel. Avec un déco très soigné et magnifique. L’hôtel se situe non loin de Cefalu. L’endroit est calme, les chambres sont très confortables, propres et luxieuses avec un magnifique vue sur la mer. Le personnel est adorables et au petit soins. On se sens de bienvenue. On reviendra!

Going in October was great for us. The hotel was geared to older people, and we were informed it was completely different from the summer months that were loud hectic and busy. I would say this hotel is not suitable for children as there are a lack of facilities to amuse youngsters throughout their day, only water play. We went as a party of three women and had rooms 3524 3526 and 3540. Each room was large,spacious, spotless, with loads of storage, and each one had an excellent sea view. Sleep was good as the hotel was quiet by 12 midnight. All of the team at the Olimpo-Le-Terrazze hotel were helpful and friendly and a real credit to their employers. The outdoor pool was cold yet rejuvenating once we were brave enough to get into it. Round the pool loungers were plentiful. We were treated to a stunning view, too. The food was plentiful and good. We never had snacks even though they were readily available as we didn't need to. No complaints at all with food and drink availability. Night time entertainment was low-key music and singing. The hotel had weddings whilst we were there, and it also had weekenders staying there, too. The hotel is close to bus routes, and the train station, the reliability of public transport, was spot on and very cheap. We did go out and about with plenty of opportunities to travel around the area with ease. We received a good overview of the area from the TUI rep, who was helpful and informative along with the reception team at the hotel, who also helped when they could this made us more confident in exploring the area. Mosquitos were a downer for us, yet they weren't keen on lemon juice that worked well for all three of us, creams, lotions, and potions did nothing. We were unaware that October is the season for mosquitos before flying there, so be prepared. All in all, we were so sad to leave as the Olimpo-Le-Terrazze Hotel, the hotel provided us with great people who looked after us - made a fuss with patience,great facilites and a superb location. We actually felt that we had a real break, a true holiday. Sicily is lovely. Thanks for a fantastic stay. We will be back.

Posizione hotel eccellente, panorama stupefacente. Servizi secondo le aspettative. Nota negativa: la camera non era sempre pronta entro le 10/11, ma abbiamo dovuto aspettare dopo le 13.00.
