We stayed overnight with 2 couples at La Ferme Berger in Ardillats on 29 September. We had high expectations, partly because of the romantic photo of the outside of the farm. Upon arrival, we had to park our car outside the grounds in a public car park, despite the fact that there was enough space. The female owner also did not seem to be in a cheerful mood. That mood did not improve during our stay. The male owner received us nicely. However, the rooms were very disappointing. The bathroom only had a shower curtain and the toilet was open in the room. We do not find that very fresh. The dinner was very disappointing. The starter was just some salad with two pieces of bread. The main course consisted of a boiled potato, some carrot puree and a few slices of sour pork sausage. There was really no taste to it. The breakfast was not much better. The bread (which the B&B praises so much) was really very old. It was inedible. The orange juice was fake. They did have home-made jam. But otherwise the breakfast was truly shameful. We read that given the price this cannot be done differently according to the owners. That seems nonsense to me. Other Chambre d'Hôtes, in the same price range, can do it and it is not that difficult to please your guests. We were lucky that there were other friendly French guests. They made it even more pleasant. Overall I think the price/quality ratio of the Chambre d'Hôtes is very bad compared to the experience we have had with other accommodations. We will therefore not come back here and we believe we have written a sincere review.

Lieux magnifique, un décor de. Carte postal , accueil du patron top.. Toujours au petit soin. Petit déjeuné très copieux et bon. Chambre très spatieuse et literie vraiment bien. Rien à redire .Je recommande et y retournerais à mes prochaines vacances c'est obligé

Accueil très chaleureux de nos hôtes. David s'est montré très disponible et réactif à nos demandes. Nous avons découvert une magnifique région pour les amoureux de nature, sport et cave à visiter. Je recommande vivement.

nous avons séjourné un week end entre amis ( du vendredi soir au lundi ) vraiment très bel endroit , les propriétaires sont adorables et les repas très bons, je recommande vivement cet endroit , la région est très belle , chambre spacieuse, bonne literie tout est à disposition , frigo, piece pour se retrouver , beaux exterieurs entretenus , rien à redire, nous remercions Anouck et David

Tout était très bien la literie le repas l'accueil Très belle bâtisse Nous avions la chambre framboise Hôte très sympathique Le village est magnifique Nous avons fait de belles connaissance j'espère qu'ils auront finit le panier 😉 Je recommande cette chambre d'hôte

Wir wurden von den Gastgebern sehr persönlich und aufmerksam empfangen und köstlich bekocht. Die Zutaten kommen aus der Region oder sogar aus dem eigenen Garten. Die Gastgeber kümmern sich mit Leidenschaft um das Wohl ihrer Gäste. Ein wunderbarer Stop auf dem Weg in den Süden - der Abstecher lohnt sich. Absolut empfehlenswert.

En un mot comme en cent : Wouaw !!! Accueil au top. Cadre superbe, meublé avec soin et sans ostentation. Peut déjeuner et repas du soir très agréables. Nous y avons passé une nuit et nous regrettons de ne pas être restés plus longtemps ! Nous reviendrons !!! Un grand merci Annouck et David. Françoise et Jean-Paul

Ayant réservé en famille pour un mariage se déroulant pas très loin du gîte, le dépaysement fut total en regardant l'immense bâtisse. Les propriétaires sont accueillants et aux petits soins lors du petit déjeuner. Je recommande les yeux fermés !
