Europa Grand Hotel

This is a lovely hotel, high on the hill above Lerici town. The views are spectacular and it is well worth the money for a balcony room but if, everyone can enjoy the views while having the delicious included breakfast. The hotel is rated only 3 stars but it is as nice, or even nicer, than many 4 star hotels I have stayed at. The hotel is beautifully clean and well maintained and all the staff are very warm and helpful. The breakfast buffet has something for everyone and of course, as is the Italian way, lots of cakes! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the complimentary shuttle service made the hotel a great base to explore the nearby towns. The spectacular views are due to the somewhat isolated location above the town. While there is a long, winding road for cars, there is a quicker way by foot down a stone staircase. It is a quick trip down - just 5 minutes. It is potentially slippery as not all the stones are well maintained, especially the path near the hotel. The climb back up is intense but one can always call the shuttle service for the trip back up. Lerici is a lovely town to visit and is a great base to visit the cinque terre using the ferry service. Tellaro is a nearby town accessible via the shuttle service and makes a beautiful day’s visit. I would heartily recommend the hotel to everyone except those with limited mobility or fitness.

Siamo stati in questo hotel per un week end lungo e ci siamo trovati splendidamente. Da subito l’accoglienza è stata perfetta. Ci sono state fornite tutte le indicazioni per le spiagge ed i ristoranti. Consiglio vivamente di cenare presso l’hotel Doria della stessa proprietà per la qualità del pesce e la vista eccezionale sul golfo di Lerici. La camera e tutto l’hotel risulta davvero curato e pulito. Complimenti alle signore delle pulizie per la gentilezza e la dedizione nello svolgere il proprio lavoro. Merita un capitolo a parte la colazione, davvero sublime con prodotti freschi e di qualità. Una ampia scelta degna di un cinque stelle. La terrazza con la vista sul golfo rende la colazione sublime. Cordialità e gentilezza contraddistinguono questo hotel.

Non ho trovato alcun difetto a questo hotel. Altro che 3 stelle. Posizione ottimale, infatti dall'albergo si può raggiungere il centro di Lerici anche a piedi percorrendo circa 500 mt, lasciando così comodamente la macchina nel parcheggio dell'hotel. La nostra stanza molto molto spaziosa con un letto pazzesco. Ambienti puliti e camere silenziose. Per quanto riguarda la colazione, una delle migliori, prodotti ben presentati, grande varietà tra dolce e salato e dolci fatti in casa. La terrazza dove si fa colazione affaccia sul porto di Lerici. La mattina svegliarsi così è meraviglioso. Insomma un soggiorno che ricordo con enorme piacere e che non esiterei a ripetere. Grazie.

Vista spettacolare, personale molto cordiale ed attentissimo ad ogni richiesta, dettagli raffinati sia negli arredi sia nel servizio. Colazione raffinata e di qualità. Mi ha fatto ricredere positivamente sui tre stelle. Ottima esperienza, da ripetere al più presto Consigliatissimo.

Very nice stay in Lerici. Cozy and large room, nice and well equipped bathroom. Very good house keeping. The parking lot isn't so large. Amazing view on the gulf if your room is sea front. The pricing is aligned with the service you get. To be again there.

Stayed at this very nice hotel for two nights the first week in October 2023. Our junior suite had been refurbished and offered a wonderful view over the Golfo di Poeti. Check-in was easy, self parking is a bit tight considering the property is on a steep slope. The breakfast was excellent due to the numerous hot and cold options and a nice treat for an American traveler. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The only negative - and it isn't really - was the shuttle into Lerici ceases to run October 1st after high season. The walk down isn't awful but coming up is a hike so persons with mobility issues should confirm shuttle service before booking. We used this hotel to explore the Cinque Terre with the ferry that docks in town and we were very pleased with the easy access to the area while being just a further bit out.
