Glazert Country House Hotel

Fantastic family meal and catch up with family today at Glazert House in Lennoxtown, with lovely food, friendly service and reasonable pricing too in comfortable surroundings. Tempura prawn starters were delicious with 2 sauces, all were very happy with the generous portions of pasta, chicken, pie, steak pie, and other meals ftom an extensive choice. Home made apple pie plus gorgeous retro ice cream sundaes completed the dining delight! What's more, we ended up here because of a dismal experience at The Kirkhouse Inn for a booking they took no interest in when it was clear there'd been a blunder. Well done, Glazert, you made our day and turned it round beautifully. We will return!

This is a fantastic venue for a large group lunch. We had 50+ visiting today and nothing was too much bother for staff. Food and service were great. This is the 6th time we’ve visited as it goes down so well with our club. We brought along our own entertainer and had a fantastic room to ourselves, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely staff but poor cleanliness Stayed for one night. The room was for 3 and spacious. However, cleanliness was terrible. Dust and hair everywhere and the bath and toilet were not clean. We had booked breakfast for Sunday morning but had to leave by 8 and were told that breakfast was only served at 9! However, they did offer to and packed us sandwiches for breakfast but delivered them to our room including ham sandwiches on Sat night at 10pm and we don’t have a fridge and it was summer. So unfortunately the sandwiches went in the bin the next day. The staff were polite but the hotel’s standards especially cleanliness were poor. And not serving breakfast before 9am is pretty poor for a hotel.
