We were meant to arrive on Thursday 7th and got cancelled by the owner this morning 05/07 with the following text message: “ Hi Leeds serviced apartments here. We are very sorry to let you know that we are unable to accommodate you due to a major maintenance issue (gas leak). We will obviously offer a full refund in order to process the refund please go into your booking confirmation email and scroll to the bottom. Tap on ammend/change booking Then click on cancellation options and request a FULL waive of fees from the property. This will process the refund. Failure to do so could result in charges” We are incredibly disappointed and distressed this got cancelled so late notice. we were visiting from Norwich for the Michael Buble concert and now have no where to stay. the price difference for 3 bedroom anywhere else is horrendously different in price this late notice. I also have to wait 7-11days for a refund when I need to rebook somewhere to stay asap. We really have been left in a awful situation with not a lot of choice this last minute! Do not understand why I had to cancel the stay? Why the owners couldn’t do this? Surely if the gas leak was real they would be able to cancel the booking? Therefore, We do not believe the reason for the cancellation of a “gas leak” it is clear they have booked the house out to others. Reading the other reviews on here sounds like a blessing in disguise and *********** should remove from their website!!!!
