The historic residence has lots of character, and it’s been reconfigured as a boutique hotel in a way that provides both for comfortable, private rooms and stylish public spaces. The breakfasts are abundant, and the rooftop terrace is expansive. You can’t go wrong with Palazzo Guido!"

"Service was outstanding. The hotel helped us tips, restaurant and beach club bookings. Breakfast was plentiful and we were kindly asked to help ourselves before the buffet shut. The pool is huge and heaven in the heat. We had a suite for the 4 of us. The building was 5 centuries old with huge ceilings. To top it off, the hotel is a stones throw away from the town centre. I highly recommend this hotel for exploring Lecce and Salento."

"Stayed two wonderful nights here with another couple and we all agreed it was a 5+ star experience. Mantatelure only has a small number of beautifully appointed rooms but the shared facilities are substantial - a beautiful lounge where you can get free liquors and sweet treats, a spacious outdoor area and terrace, and a lovely breakfast room downstairs with a further lounge area off it. The location is ideal in a very quiet street located right on the edge of the old town with all the main sites very easily walkable along picturesque streets. Breakfast was magnificent - both the quality and quantity of fresh food was amazing including the option for cooked eggs and bacon any style, all served in a delightfully friendly manner. The yogurt was sensational with a lovely selection of cakes/pastries in addition to lots of meat/cheese/cerial options. The rooms were beautiful - spacious, large comfortable beds, great air conditioning, lots of nice touches. Friends stayed in an apartment which was huge and lovely, but was up a steepish set of stairs so not ideal if you have mobility issues. Finally the welcome from Martina and the advice/recommendations from her throughout our visit was brilliant - so friendly and personable, a credit to Lecce!"
