Hampton Inn Laurinburg

Front Desk was horrible there was a tall white guy at that front desk who constantly left the phone ringing while he stood in the front of the building to smoke not to mention he smelled like Pure *********. That is very unethical and he mentioned he was the assistant manager... WOOOOOWWWWW. Other than that the room was clean and the maids were great besides the front desk guy my stay was great. He has to realize some people has asthma my Grandma almost choked off all the smoke he was blowing inside the front door. HIS NOT SUITABLE FOR MANAGEMENT.

I have stayed in this hotel 5-6 times before and it was good. However, they have had changes in ownership and management and not for the better. The bathroom was filthy with black mold and the toilet was in disrepair. The internet did not work the entire 3 days we were there (I received an e-mail acknowledging this 2 days after checkout). I requested housekeeping 3 times but the room was never cleaned. The A/C thermostat did not work (also acknowledged after checkout). The clock did not work. The hallways had garbage piled up. I have attached some photos as proof. The breakfast was good and the front desk people were nice. I tried to talk to the manager but he was condescending and uninterested. He said he would add Hilton Honors points to my account but never did. If anyone at Hilton reads this and wants verification, talk to the manager's assistant/intern who was there and took notes. I will never stay at this property again.

Many problems: Multiple carpet stains in the room Odd smell in rooms Flood lights through the bedroom windows all night The toilet leaked so every hour or so it would loudly refill the reservoir On the bright side, the bed was clean and common areas in much better repair than the rooms. The gym is small but adequate.

We reserved a room in advance for one of our employees, paid for the room, called back to confirm reservation. Our employee shows up to check in and was told the card on file was expired and he had to pay for the room out of his own pocket. The card does not expire until 12/2023

Great stay and clean room. The front desk clerk, Cliff, was fantastic and went above my expectations. Thank you for your kind, caring, prompt and efficient service. I had a very enjoyable stay and if I need to stay in Laurinburg again, this Hampton Inn would be my first choice.

Our room had urine on the floor in the bathroom and toilet was dirty, trash and food in room, breakfast was closed early and next day ran out of plates. The front office staff was very nice but manager made no effort to correct the issues.

Been here a handful of times over the years on our way to our family vacation at the beach. We’ve always been greeted by friendly faces with great attitudes. The lobby is always nice, clean and well taken care of. However, the guest rooms seem to be falling in disrepair. Our room on the second floor had the molding falling off the wall. It’s not possible to overlook. The room on the third floor bathroom sink was clogged, front desk came up and removed with snake and left plunger as I was willing if needed. It was needed! Sheets and towels have lost the white. Sorting old from new and removing stained ones would be great. I have stayed at many Hilton facilities but do not recall ever seeing a tip jar at the self service breakfast before. Not that it’s not deserved but just never noticed. Overall experience was okay.

We stayed on our trip back to Florida from New Jersey. The Hotel was a ways from I95 which wasn’t a big deal. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The beds were comfortable. The Hotel itself seem outdated and could use some touch up but, compared to the alternatives in the area, Hampton inn is always a welcome sight. I would stay here again.

This hotel is conveniently located off the highway and the parking lot is safely lit. Nick (at the front desk) was SO polite, professional and accommodating! My son forgot his toothbrush and toothpaste and Nick got it for him. We needed an extra pillow and blanket (for the pullout couch) and Nick helped us immediately. What a great hotel experience after such a long drive! Thanks Nick and Hampton Inn!
