"The neptuno is situated on the beach front , very close to shops bars and cafes/restaurants,adult relaxed atmosphere,the rooms are more than adequate for self catering with good walk in shower and large modern tvs recently installed which offer wide range of channels,it is nice to see that mugs are available as opposed to small cups that generally hold a mouthful,staff are very welcoming from the reception staff housekeepers and even the pool attendant, the pool area is spacious with easy access to obtain a newly refurbished sun lounger , breakfast is available if required €15, this was our 5th visit to this hotel in 3 years please remember this is a 2* hotel,and will gladly return to this little gem in the heart of costa teguise"

"Excellent stay, we have gone back after a couple of years gap and the hotel is running smoother and exactly as it should. Food is great, something for everyone, the restaurant is busy but we never waited for more than a couple of minutes for a table. The whole resort is spotlessly clean with very friendly staff. Sunlounger reserving does still happen. Some people were sat on them at 8am, others had towels left.. there are notices everywhere asking you not to do that but unfortunately im not sure anybody takes any notice. Overall a great stay, 15 Euros in a taxi from the airport. We we stay again."

"I very rarely write a bad review however to warn others I feel I need to. On arrival we were met by a really lovely man, Dean, who seems to be mentioned a lot in reviews and rightly so, he is a gentleman. This is honestly about the only positive thing I have to say unfortunately. When we entered our room it appeared clean but straight away I noticed a smell in the bedroom, we were too tired to worry about it then but when we got up later that day it was obvious something wasn't right, it was as if the sheets in the bed had not been changed. The bathroom was also not clean, with long black hairs everywhere. I complained the next morning and was told it would be sorted and that the iron we asked for would be also delivered to the room. When we returned at lunch time, the beds had been changed and the smell was gone, however little attention if any was given to the bathroom, there was still hairs everywhere and it became obvious over our stay that the cleaning is sub par to say the very least. This hotel does not have a bar or restaurant so the only thing they need to keep an eye on is the cleaning, it's the worst I’ve ever come across. Even the iron was dirty, how does anyone leave an iron that has viable grime on the handle for guests to use?? We paid an extra 80 euro for a seaview room with a patio and while the view was worth it that was also not clean, with worn/dirty furniture and fag butts blowing around the place. This would be classed as a budget hotel but that doesn't mean cleanliness is thrown out the window. Honestly do what I wish we did and pay a bit more to stay somewhere that has a bit of pride in itself."

"Minulla oli ihanaa aikaa tässä hotellissa. 2* se oli kaikki mitä tarvitsin ja halunnut. Kauniit palmupuut ja bougainvillea kaikkialla. Oli paljon toimintoja valita / kirjautua kautta Tui App kuten aqua aerobic, ja auringonnousu yoga, ja taidetta ja käsityötä. Nuoret opettajat olivat kauniita ja innokkaat. Iltaviihde oli sijoittautunut takaisin ja hauskaa, jossa on kyseessä pukeutuminen ja esitykset ja musiikki. He ovat hyvin ystävällisesti päivittäneet minut laajaan merenkatsaus huoneessa näkymät ympäri Fuertaventura. Erittäin arvostettu. Menin itse ruokailuun ja keittiössä oli kaikki tarpeen laitteisto. Ei uuni vaan combi mikroaaltouuni. Sänky oli hyvin mukava. Monet varastointitilat ja sukat. Uima-allas / ranta pyyhkeet on varustettu. Minulla oli buffetillallinen viime yönä ja oli niin paljon vaihtoehtoja. Erittäin hyvä arvo €20. Suosittelen."

"Just returned from one week at this hotel. The hotel is very clean, the rooms were amazing. We were in a 2bedroom at the back of the complex overlooking the splash pool. Was lovely sitting out on balcony in the evening enjoying a quiet drink although many ground floor apartments don't have the level of privacy we did. They are modern and the showers are fab. The next biggest plus was the animation team, I can't think of his name but the guy with the mustache and dreads, he puts his heart and soul into entertaining the kids and is very thoughtful and considerate particularly with kids that were shy and found it hard to join in. He is a real asset to the hotel. The food was hit and miss. If you found something you could eat, it nearly always tasted fresh and incredible but we found ourselves as a group trying to avoid eating here. We went next door to Lidl for pastries at breakfast and ate out for dinner and availed of the snack bar for lunch. There seems to be one guy trying to manage everything behind the counter so at times there were huge queues for a fried egg or an omelette. If you want to avoid the wait times you could go earlier but I wish they would give this guy some back up. We spoke to some guests who had been there over previous years and the said they felt the numbers of staff had reduced. Maybe this is what it wrong here they are short staffed but it definitely made us avoid the dining room. Also just personal preference but didn't like having to go down into that very warm space for every mealtime, not sure what the hotel can do about that as it's on a small enough footprint but would have been nice to have option to eat meals above ground too, outside of the pool snack bar which has been commented on already in previous posts. Agree this guy doesn't come across the friendliest, I never found him rude, but in fairness he is stuck inside this tiny corner unit on his own with hot pans and cookers etc for hours. And wait times for a quick poolside snack were sometimes up to 40 minutes. The entertainment in the evening wasn't great. It largely happens in this small space above reception and the heat can be stifling. Mostly just standing space as seating is very limited. It was just enough to entertain our 4-7 year old group but they honestly preferred just running around outside with other kids. The final piece I want to write about is the biggest reason we would not return here. On the Sunday we arrived very soon after a very tragic incident which saw a couple lose their 4 year old child. Firstly I want to say how heartbroken I am for them and secondly I want to say how disappointed I was in the hotel for not acknowledging what had happened somehow. The very least could have been a minutes silence on the weeks anniversary, or a closing of that one pool for a day but nothing, it just felt like business as usual yet you could feel this dark cloud, it was palpable at times. We saw the lifeguards patroling around but spoke to so man"

"Apartments were brilliant, clean, spacious, adequately equipped for self catering! We had one backing onto a road but this wasn't a problem, not bothered by much road noise! The pool area was out of this world, a little touch of heaven, lovely pool, comfy sun beds and always some available! Staff were really friendly and cocktails and food reasonably priced! The situation of the apartments to the main strip was good, 5 mins walk down hill and you were there! We will definitely look forward to going back again!"

"Ihana hotelli. Immaculate. Hyvä arvo 3 tähti+. Se on aikuisille vain, joka tekee siitä hyvin rauhallisen. Oikeastaan hotellista on paljon kauppoja, ravintoloita ja pubeja. Vaikka olet hyvin lähellä tiloja se oli hyvin hiljaista. Hotellin henkilöstö oli ihana. Erityisesti Deb, joka juoksi pientä kahvilaa, ravintolaa. Hänen sideck Liz. Heillä oli aina hymy kasvoissaan ja erittäin hyödyllinen. Kaunis aamiainen. Minun on myös mainittava Sheila, joka on ollut vieras monta vuotta ja auttaa ulos. Kiitos Hannah yrittää järjestää minun siirrot. Yleisesti ottaen tämä on kaunis hotelli ja hyvä vierailun arvoinen."
