Apartamentos LIVVO Las Gaviotas

We had such a lovely stay here couldn’t recommend it more. The rooms are so nice and spacious and it is based right on the sea front just 2 minutes away from lots of bars and restaurants to get a bite to eat. It is lovely and peaceful the pool is like your own private pool most of the time. The staff are extremely helpful and provided us with everything we needed. We were here for 3 nights and cleaners came every day, it is very clean and well looked after. Perfect place to come for a nice getaway. The only downfall is the bar not being open on saturday and sunday although the shops, bars and restaurants are so close it’s hardly an issue.

1 bed bungalow in area 8. (34) no issues with stairs or hills would be fine for people with mobility issues. Nothing fancy but clean tidy and has everything you need, however would benefit from extra coat hangers. The fridge worked great. Local for the commercial centre just a few minutes walk and beach almost on the doorstep. Pool area is very nice . We went at a quiet time, always able to get a sunbed. Staff very nice. Would definitely return due to the locality.

Lovely find a few years ago. Friendly staff. Comfy rooms. Cleaning very good. Pools are all nice. Great location.

I would advise noting the image I have attached to flag up that if you search for the Las Gaviotas apartments to be aware that not all apartments are on the same site. Using the location of the main site as a guide to the proximity of supermarkets etc can be misleading as we were in block 8 - which you will see is some distance (a minibus service is provided to transfer tourists and luggage to the site). Beyond that, the apartment is basic for a self-catering stay. There is a maid service 5/7 days per week with frequent change of towels and bedding. The floor could do with a bit of a mop as it is only swept. The ability to self cater is a bit of a challenge with the limited utensils (unsuccessful at turning an omelette with a veg strainer 🙃) There is a nice pool area (although a touch too chilly at this time of the year - fine when the wind drops!) The stretch along the coast is wonderful for long walks with plenty of places to eat/drink along the way (unless you head east towards the airport)

Avoid room 302 , toaster broken, phone not working and the air-conditioning box hanging barely on the wall. The air-conditioning remote was also broken. This bungalow was the only one that got no sunshine ,so the lilos provided were useless. It faced directly on to the main access entrance for other guests and the main public path way. No privacy at all and had to keep the door locked at all times due to how easily accessible our door was. The pool is not heated and is worse than a blast freezer. The pool snack bar breakfast was delicious. Staff attending the snack bar are amazing . The let down the Snack bar only opens Monday to Fri. I do highly recommend there speciality coffee exceptional.

Absolutely horrible experience in room 720. Busy road outside apartment and for 4 days had a sewage truck outside for 3hours. Couldn't stay in the apartment while it was happening, the smell was appalling. Complained 2nd day and was told no rooms available and hotel fully booked. Unsympathetic staff and the worst apartment I've ever stayed in 32 years of coming to lanzarote.
