Such a great holiday for our young family. Lots of pools to choose from and lots of shady spots to relax. Pools a little cold but to be expected. Once in you are fine! Junior suite a good size but the sofa bed uncomfortable. Shower has good power and temperature. Air con worked well. Cleaners are great. Food is delicious but being a vegetarian, I was sad to see there weren't really any main meals that were vegetarian as in often sides. Plenty to choose from but would have been nice to have a vegetarian alternative I.e. a sweet and sour without the chicken etc. Please add a V to the meals to say if its vegetarian... the Hungarian bean stew for example looked safe until I found some chorizo in it! The main reason I gave it a 4 is not showing what is vegetarian. Would highly recommend this hotel and only 25 minutes from the airport.

Hotel its self is nice, but i definitely DO NOT recommend. My parents arrived, and due to a 'technical issue' were sent to another hotel, which they were then kicked out of at 12 as they had their own guests. ( we later found out this was because the room at this hotel was never actually available, and they had to wait until guests checked out to give my parents a room, my parents arrived on a Sunday, but didn't get a room until Monday late afternoon ) When arriving back to this hotel - My parents were then left in the waiting area for 5 hours with no room still, with absolutely NO communication from any staff member as they simply did not care, along with another couple, who also had no communication. This resulted in me calling the holiday provider we booked through, for them to call the hotel, the hotel told the company that my parents were offered free towels as an apology, but that they still don't know when the room would be ready. I called several times throughout the day for an update as i was starting to panic about my parents having no where to stay, but again staff couldn't be any less helpful. Just after 4pm i called and the staff told me that the room was ready, and ''had been for a while'' but yet my parents still hadn't been told, and were sitting in the lobby - They also told the holiday provider, that there was a spare room with shower facilities that was available, but yet my parents were not made aware of this, the only apology was free towels, and alcoholic drinks even though they had paid for all inclusive, which included alcoholic drinks. So for this reason alone, due to the lack of communication and the staff being so dismissive at this hotel - i would recommend booking elsewhere.

Lots of good and would overall recommend this hotel. We travelled with my husband and I both in our early 40s and our nearly 4 year old. Pros Fantastic staff. So friendly at every part of the hotel and in every role. Mini disco and kids entertainment very good. Lots of interaction. Family evening entertainment was overall good. Lots of young families and the space was secure enough for the kids to run around and enjoy themselves. For this reason for the first time ever we spent most of our time in the hotel. Daytime entertainment for the kids and adults was also good. Good, simple pool areas. Clean and well maintained. Pools were a decent temperature. Two main pools had a slope into them meaning our girl confidently played and walked into the deeper areas for a swim. All inclusive food was good. Good selections at breakfast with home style pork sausages and bacon as well as all the other things you’d expect. Lunch and dinner options were also nice but a little too much of the same thing. Overall everyone ate well. Main dining area has an enclosed but outside space. This made a very pleasant dining area rather than noisy inside but this does mean there are small birds coming around looking for nibbles. Junior suite was a good size and nice large balcony. I would recommend a ground floor. Great shower and good mirror vs power socket options. Rooms cleaned daily and towels changed. Supermarket right next door has great selection and good prices. Beach is about a 2 mins walk away through a few bars and shops. When you reach the beach all shops/bars stop for a long stretch so get what you need before you go any further. About 10 mins walk to a livelier square with a great selection of bars and restaurants and a nightly market. There is an Aquarian next door which is very good. Cons There is no lift so keep this in mind if you chose an upper floor. The main pool bar which is also used for snacks closed for emergency repair on day 4. This moved snacks and drinks to a location further away from the pool. This then meant the snack options reduced so there was no fruit of vegetables which was all my girl would eat. She does not eat hotdogs/burgers. This also meant they could not offer ice lollies as nowhere to store them. The mains resort where there is an even greater selection and some places we would like to go was much further away. Junior suite has one main bedroom and sofa bed. This is essentially the couch as a mattress and not comfortable at all. Some amenities need an upgrade. The fridge freezer was so small you could not fit a bag of ice in the ice box. The toaster blew the fuse in the apartment when first used. Equivalent local options for Jack Daniels / Havana 7 was a spiced rum. Wasn’t great. Some bar snacks would have been nice as only option was to use the vending machines or go to the shop. In our experience we’ve had nibbles put down like peanuts. OVERALL - Hotel in a nice setting. Very clean and tidy (as is the Island itself!) Ideal location and felt safe. Food- Typical AI food. You crave decent veg after day 3! Always something different but will have chips and plain pasta with (usually tomato) a sauce each day for the fussy ones. We ended up eating out in the evenings for the last few days (La Hacienda and Pablo's Restaurante). The snack bar is located by the main pool. Usually has burgers, chips and biscuits. The buns are individually wrapped which keeps them fresh. And provide thick napkins and little paper bags to allow food to go pool side. Pools - some balls and play toys are provided in a box by the lifeguards- inflatables NOT allowed. There are two pools areas. To the right by the restaurant is the louder more entertaining pool. The other to the left from the reception is a bit quieter but seems to be more sheltered from the wind. the Toilets are hard to find around the pool area! not greatly sign posted. Room - We had room 1327 and was very spacious and well equipped. Despite being AI we had all the self catering facilities. And ability for daughter to have her own bed on the sofa with- no complaint about that. AC worked well in the rooms, defo cooler in the living area. Shower only, but was powerful waterfall/rainfall and separate attachment. There aren’t many mirrors, and ones there are, lacks power outlets nearby. We bought an extension lead, best idea! Large balcony area with a small washing line too. (bring pegs!) We opted for housecleaning every other day as didn't feel we needed it any more than that - just needed fresh towels! But did a good enough job - and did our washing up too which was not expected. LOCATION - Location is great! Plenty of beaches in walking distance and all have easy access to bars, cafes and convenience shops. We also walked to the splash park as only 2 mile away (separate review on that. In short; half a day is plenty long enough!) Hire a car to make the most of the island. We asked our travel rep but they told us reception would have the best ideas for this. We went with Elizabeth car hire, about €50/24h hire. We visited the cactus garden, mirador and timanfaya. Mirador is not worth the €8 to get in for the views. All these tourist attractions are basically the same - in terms of once your in the stuff is exactly the same in the souvenir shops and cafes are all from the same company. You have a QR code to read the menu. We also visited a golf bar behind the hotel (jungle river crazy golf) thanks to winning tickets from the hotel, but would have happily paid the full amount for it. Entertainment - The main entertainment hall is small - I’m not sure how they manage to fit a full amount of people in there. There are also pillars in the way of view of the stage. The shows were really good including two different acrobatic acts. But can’t help but think they would be even better if they were given some more space (above!) Lack of en
