Disappointing Anniversary Experience at Bluepine Resort, Lansdowne We recently stayed at Bluepine Resort, Lansdowne for two days to celebrate our anniversary, but the experience was quite disappointing and not at all what we expected. We had informed the resort 15 days in advance about our anniversary celebration and requested a simple room decoration with balloons, an anniversary tag, and a half-kg chocolate truffle cake with a “Happy Anniversary to us” message on it. On the day of check-in, we reminded Mr. Mukesh Rawat about these requests. However, the room was decorated with just a balloons. There was no tag, no message on the cake, and shockingly, even the cake was not fresh. After just one bite, my daughter complained of stomach pain, so we didn’t touch the cake further. The cake flavor was also not as requested. To make it worse, when we asked for a cake candle, they handed us a large regular candle and said, “This is the candle.” It was honestly quite ridiculous. When I raised the issue, Mr. Rawat argued instead of accepting the mistake, saying he had already informed us that they couldn't provide the tag or the message. If that was the case, he should have clearly communicated that beforehand — I could’ve arranged everything on my own. Despite all this, they charged us ₹1000 for basic balloon decoration and ₹500 for the cake, which was not at all worth it. While the room and other staff were fine, this experience completely ruined the essence of our anniversary celebration. I truly hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures proper arrangements and communication in the future, especially for guests visiting for special occasions. Room was spacious and cleaned, Location & Room view was amazing. Need to improve food quality.
