Unassuming, charming and comfortable hotel, featuring kind hosts and a delightful breakfast before checkout. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone doing business in/around the Landstuhl/KMC area. I had a quiet and relaxing stay.

Great experience. Great price for clean, well kept room. Great breakfast included. Friendly staff. One block away from US military hospital at Landstuhl. Relatively small hotel, so not crowded with too many people, so it felt more like a guest at a home rather than a hotel.

Quiet location, big parking lot (free to guests), with easy access to the Autobahn. Across from the US Army hospital in Landstuhl. The room provided enough space, good workspace for my computer, and had a door opening to an outside balcony. Bathroom was modern style German, with bright white tile work. Shower produced excellent hot water, very quickly. Breakfast was included, and had all the typical items one would expect for a German Fruehstuck (fresh buns, butter and jelly, cold cuts, eggs, cereal, juices, fresh coffee). A nice place at a good value.

The basics are there. The pros: + Comfortable bed - good night's sleep + Spotlessly clean public areas and room + Good shower + Free parking for guests + All-in-all good value for money Cons: - No mirror in the bedroom, only in the bathroom. Difficult to get ready when one of you is in the bathroom. - Room was a bit cold, and the heating was obviously switched off. Mid-May SHOULD be warmer, but this year that's not the case! What left a bad taste in our mouths was how we were made to feel in the morning when we came down for breakfast. We were told at check-in that breakfast hours are between 08:00 and 10:00am, so we arrived in the breakfast room at 09:30am, only to find empty bread baskets and hot food containers. When I asked whether there was any further fried breakfast available, it was pointed out that we were "the last down to breakfast!", and I got the distinct feeling that I was being a nuisance asking for hot food at 9:30 (even though we paid a rate including breakfast, and were entitled to it). The bacon and eggs were prepared for us, but we were unable to enjoy them due to feeling bad for "being last". If breakfast is available until 10:00am, it should be reasonable to expect it at 09:30am. Otherwise please tell guests that breakfast finishes at 09:30. As check-out is also 10:00, there's little room for manuoevre. The morning experience made us feel unwelcome. Guests should not be berated for "being last"!!
