Camping Savoie l'Eden de la Vanoise

We stayed here in our camper for the first time a few weeks ago. Initially we booked for a few days but we extended by a few more because enjoyed the campsite and area so much. The site is nestled in such a scenic area right at the side of the river Isere at the bottom of the village of Landry and the surrounding beautiful scenery; the pitch sizes are good and spacious, the facilities were always spotless whenever we used them (we didn't use the pool (but I saw it being regularly cleaned even late in the evenings). There's free WiFi and an on site bar which closes at 19:00 and takes next morning's bread orders.. In the village there's a little shop about 0.5 miles up the road which was well stocked and sold fresh bread and produce and local bar/restaurants. As for the staff I found them very welcoming and friendly with tons of information about things to do locally. Given the fact my French is only what I remember from high school it was a huge bonus that all the staff spoke impeccable English. There's loads of stunningly beautiful walks in the area, either from the site itself or just a short drive up the hill and plenty of cycling either on roads or cycle paths. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return and recommend.

Camp bien équipé, calme, ombragé, service du pain, bar (jusqu'à 19h00) dans un village avec restaurants et départs de randonnées. Piste cyclable entre le camp et la rivière, permet de rejoindre Bourg St Maurice à l'écart de la circulation. Nous n'avons pas testé la piscine (chauffée)!
