North Lodge

Just back from a lovely stay at North Lodge. On arrival there is a spacious private car park. On entering the property there is a large well equipped kitchen with everything you need, washer , dryer, microwave, air fryer , all that you would have at home. The living room was lovely and comfortable, it is well decorated throughout and ideal for me as there is a downstairs bedroom and bathroom as i have mobility issues. the upstairs has 3 bedrooms and a lovely bathroom, There were guest towels on all of the beds and it was clean throughout the lodge. There was a patio area off the kitchen with garden furniture although we didn't have the weather to use it. My Husband walked into the centre which is roughly a 10 /15 min walk where there is plenty of shops restaurants and pubs something to suit all. a one way taxi fare is roughly £4.50. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again.

Stopped here with friends and took over both lodges. Great that there is a gate out back so that you can easily go between them both without going outside the front doors. The carpark to the side was a great size and accommodated all our cars, it was set away from the road so no chance of them getting damaged like on an open road. The lodges were nice and neutral capturing the old buildings with a modern feel. The rooms are good sizes and have everything you need without feeling cluttered. The kitchens had all the utensils you need, however I loved the touch of there being a whole host of takeaway menus available as we didn't know the area! Much better than trying to find on just eat and the Chinese was top notch. Overall a great break away, a great building in a good location. Definitely be back soon
