Alamayah Boutique Retreat Hotel & Villa

Alamaya Boutique Hotel is an absolute GEM in Sumba. Traveling to Sumba has been a dream for many years and exploring the island with Alamaya was so perfect. From the pickup at the airport to all the amazing activities on the island. The location is perfect, waking up looking out at the surf/waves. The staff at Alamaya is truly amazing. Everyone took such good care of us and made sure all are needs were met. Every morning my friend and I started the day with an icebath, a dip in the pool and a coffee at the poolbar. We went surfing, snorkling, spearfishing, stand up paddle boarding, horse riding, exploring by motorbike and we enjoyed some yoga sessions. I would recommend anyone who's planning a visit to Sumba island to stay with Alamaya.

Przebić atmosferę jaką tworzy personel hotelu naprawdę będzie trudno. Już same wnętrza ( projekt i wystrój hotelu ) powodują, że czujesz się dobrze, ale to ludzie są sercem tego obiektu. Hotel to zaledwie 6 pokoi. Wszystkie piękne, z dużą wygodną łazienką , wygodne. Śniadania są doskonałe , tak samo zresztą jak wszystkie serwowane posiłki. W cenie pokoju jest możliwość korzystania z rowerów z napędem elektrycznym, desek do serfingu, wycieczka do okolicznych wiosek. Personel codziennie ma dla ciebie mnóstwo propozycji jak spędzić czas :) Poznaliśmy zaledwie kawałek Sumby, ale zdecydowanie mamy apetyt na więcej ! Tydzień to za mało, żeby w pełni poczuć ducha wyspy :)

We had an incredibly perfect 6 nights at Alamayah, Sumba. The property is absolutely stunning and our experience was only heightened by the warm and personal service provided by the staff who treated us like family. We were picked up from the airport and driven to the hotel in spotless vehicles and as soon as we arrived given a welcome drink & and explained the property. Our room, Tahik, faced onto the ocean & it was beautiful watching the sunrise from our balcony everyday. The rooms are immaculately clean & every detail has been considered, from complimentary mini bar to toothpaste, sunscreen & bug spray. Housekeeping staff do a lovely job & we always looked forward to their turndown service in the evening which made bedtime so inviting. Every dish we ordered from the restaurant was delicious, and the menu has an excellent variety of Indonesian & Western dishes. The chefs obviously take a lot of pride in their cooking & the dishes looked and tasted amazing. Also not to be missed is the fantastic bar, the bartenders are expert cocktail makers and we indulged in a variety of different drinks during our stay. My husband who loves to surf was taken care of by the Surf Guide, which put my mind at ease knowing someone local to the area & familiar with the conditions would be out with him in the water. We had a wonderful 90 minute massage & did the Village Tour which we absolutely recommend every guest does. We are so thankful for every staff member who made our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to come & stay with you again. X
