This place exceeded my expecations. Bad reviews must pertain to the time before ownership change and extensive renovations. Alhtough small, the cottage we stayed in was super clean and cozy, with a nice bathroom and shower with decent water pressure, closet, fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Nice porch to drink your coffee/tea/milk in the morning and evening. There are birds, tiny squirrels, chipmunks and deer...Beautiful lake is steps away. Also the amazing horse riding /pack stations (D&F stables 0.6 mi away). The restaurant /bar nearby has a great food. SO much to do! You will not regret your stay here.

Where do I begin!!! The spots are ALOT smaller than advertised. There are no pull through spots like mentioned, The housekeeping was subpar, site 12 and 13 are basically one site so don’t book either. I recommend checking it out before you book. Camp hosts are nowhere to be found, there is nowhere to check in. Pretty unorganized! Trash all over the ground, missing hose bib keys, access road is horrible, good luck! We ended up moving to China Peak.

We are currently staying at the RV park here. Our spot is #23 and it's literally the only spot that isn't crammed up against someone else. The spots are extremely close together. That said, there's an absolutely beautiful trail, the campground is well maintained, the host is very nice, and the bathroom is clean and actually has flush toilets. There are also hookups at each site. It's a nice campground and if you want to know your neighbors very well, this place is for you!

Location was beautiful but there was no one else there in the middle of no where. All other cabins were being renovated which was quite an eye soar for paying close to $400 a night. There was a $35 resort fee but for what I don’t know because there was no tv, WiFi, pool, or any other resort feature. Cabin was cute but again not worth what I paid. Food was ok and customer service was great. Very secluded!

Cabinets are set up very nice. The resort is doing remodeling but love what it’s going to be in the future. Definitely will plan more trips here in the near future.

Spent a couple nights in Cabin L1, was fabulous. Clean. Bar staff (Hailey) was fantastic. Food was phenomenal. Chef Lindsay was a delight & so was her food. Highly recommend. Took a ride up to the Mono Hot Springs while there. Ride up the mountain was definitely an adventure & not for the faint of heart. Be sure to get gassed up in Shaver Lake prior to climbing the mountain. No gas stops beyond that point

The cabin was in the RV Park. It was one of the better cabins I have stayed in during my travels the past few years. Loved the trail going down to the creek. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It is a little trek down the hill to get to the lake but a nice walk. The property on the way to the RV camp and cabin looks like some of it is being renovated/remodeled or needs worked on. This is a little pricey but loved the rustic cabin and being in a forest near a lake! I will be back!
