Whippoorwill Motel & Campsites

Really enjoy staying here. Very close and accessible to Lake George and Glens Falls. Friendly staff that are always cleaning up and asking if you need assistance. Bonus is there is a winery right at the campground with a slushy machine. 😊 Also, we have enjoyed the access to the bike path and trolley that travel from Glens Falls to Lake George.

Stayed in the RV park. Our site was very deep and backed up to the fence that seperates the park from the bike trail so we didn't have any neighbors behind. Speaking of the bike trail, nice easy access to the bike trail which was one of the main reasons for us choosing this park. The bath/shower house was a huge disappointment. Toilet facilities were clean and just fine, however, the shower facilities were terrible. 1 hook on the back of the door is all you're given to hang your towel and clothes. A small chair, stool or bench would be helpful to dress but the biggest problem was the showers! A child's toy watering can puts out more water and pressure than these showers! My husband said it was just as bad on the men's side!

This camp ground is absolutely beautiful. So cozy, clean, well maintained, beautiful pool and the pool was very clean. Owners very friendly and accommodating. We didn’t want to leave. We stayed at other camp grounds in the area but this one by far is much better great location as well. We are all ready picking dates for next year. We can’t wait to go back. Their winery is also very beautiful and very clean. And the wine was pretty tasty!
