Bakers Sunset Bay Resort

Wife, 2 boys (6 and 9) stayed 2 nights over Labor Day weekend in a lake front room. Excellent stay overall. Rooms are a little dated, beds standard, AC loud, but the overall we had a blast. Lots of great amenities, pools are open late which was awesome, and the beach is clean and huge. Location perfect and quick drive to everything. would stay again.

This resort is great. We stayed in the lake view suite which was clean and reasonably priced and had fantastic view of beach, lake and pool. The suite had refrigerator, stove and microwave and dishes. The resort had 2 pools - one inside and one outside. It also had free kayaks, volleyball, ping pong , yard games and about 8 outdoor BBQ grills. At night they have a camp fire with live acoustic music and s’mores. Very quiet and peaceful resort and all the guests seemed to have a great time. Very family friendly. U can tell the resort takes pride in itself and it shows. When booking the price went up so I called and they honored the original price! Highly recommended!!

Our family had a great time. Had three different rooms. Ours was 414 lake view king. It was good but I don’t think the sun ever hit the deck. Our other room was 427 and faced the parking lot. They got sun. This was two queen beds. The other was 205. Livingroom with two queen beds in the bedroom. The indoor pool was a favorite with the kids. The outdoor pool was kind of cool when we were there. Finally got warmer the day we left. So did the weather. We used the canoes. Also did Kevin by the campfire. It has been four years since we have been there. Been there various times through the years.

We stayed here for 4 days. The reception person was very unfriendly and unwelcoming. Got a DIRTY room with DIRTY SHOWER HEAD and SPIDER WEB on the ceiling. We asked receptions for a housekeeping to clean out the spider web and we were told that they are going to come tomorrow since no other rooms were available. We never got one. We have not seen a single housekeeping member to clean our room, take the garbage or change the towels. Other than a cute, small beach there is noting nice about this hotel. We are very disappointed and definitely not coming back here!

We got a condo for our family and my parents. It was conveniently located to all Dells locations and it was nice to have a kitchen. The place was quiet, even though full. We enjoyed having access to the beach and kayaks. The pools were great, although a little small. We did have them to ourselves in the morning. Wish we could have done the bonfire activities too, but we were wiped after full days. Would definitely recommend although the beds were pretty creaky and the kitchen could have had more pans.

Booked 2 rooms for a family vacation with my daughter, her husband and 3 grand kids. The resort was very clean and well kept. Rooms were also clean and comfortable. Lots of things for kids to do! Enjoyed the free kayaks. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only suggestions I would say is the footing under the splash pad area was rough, perhaps glaze it? Also tile around indoor pool was slick. Had to watch your step. We really enjoyed our visit and will be back!

Beware! My husband and I stayed at this place overnight Friday night 5/19/23 we thought it was nice at first. The desk clerks were nice, but they either have never seen a lake view or they are liars.. We checked out Saturday and on our way back home started to break out in red bumps and scratch severely. Which we never stopped anywhere just drove straight through to Sheboygan. We went to urgent care to find we have scabies! So Eewww

It was a last minute decision to meet some friends for dinner and drinks in the Dells on a Tuesday night in early January. They were on a spa retreat at Sundara so I called a friend who lives in the area and asked where I should stay that would be close to the spa. He told me there was a nice resort (Baker's Sunset Bay) directly across from the entrance to the spa. I pulled in there mid afternoon and was impressed by the property and location, on the lake. When I walked into the lobby I was greeted by a nice receptionist who set me up with a very clean and quiet room. It was a room on the lake side with 2 beds and was all the amenities a person needed. I called my friends and we decided we were going to the River's Edge which was a bar/restaurant that was 2 min away. I had some time to check out the area before picking up my friends, so I made the loop around the lake to see what was there. I have to say that the Sunset Bay is close (5-10min) from all the main attractions and places of interest. As they say about real estate - location, location, location!

This was our first time and we were very pleased! The whole facility is spotless, the staff very friendly, rooms are clean and amenities are great! We had a two BR suite, with a kitchen, and it worked great for our family of 4. The setting is awesome...the view from the lobby, through the window of the indoor pool, is really neat...a private beach on Lake Delton. We felt like we were in Northern WI....plenty of trees, water, and peace. The indoor pool is small, but cute, with a kids little water slide. It's obvious the management is committed to clean, a huge plus for us. The location is awesome....off the beaten path but close to all the Dells attractions. We were here off season, so things were pretty quiet, which was just fine for us. We'll definitely return!
