I would basically say 4.8, but that rating cannot be done. My husband and I came to Lake City to go to a Florida Gators game. The drive to the game was only about 45 minutes, which was super convenient. The check-in, check-out was simple. the room was super clean and organized in a fashion that everything flowed. The breakfast was “blah,” but since I brought some food with us we just used the kitchenette in our room to prep our second days breakfast. There was a small decent selection, but it was super bland for my tastes; but the kids i saw eating truly seemed to like what they were eating and loved the waffle machine. i loved being able to make food in our room so I was still happy. the grounds gave access to a clean pool and next to the pool were grills that could be used. my husband and i walked around the grounds where there were multiple hotels around us. the bed was comfortable and the shower put out a decent pressure and we had no problems getting hit or cold water. there was a nice big television in the room which was nice to watch on the couch provided in the room. all in all it was a short but nice stay.

Would love to give the hotel 4 stars, but when you are charged $26 for taking a blanket that you didn’t take and never even saw…you just can’t. And it makes it harder to over look the small things. We paid $281 for this room ( not worth it, but it was a busy weekend) …I don’t need to take a used blanket! Hoping this will be resolved but so far no one could help us. Just beware, check your credit card statement 24 hours after checkout!

Pleasantly surprised. This was a very nice hotel. I tend to avoid this area but had car troubles and needed to spend the night. The staff were super friendly. Hotel clean, nice breakfast. Lots of restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again! The hotel even called a few days later as someone left something in the room and they thought it might be ours. It wasn’t but it was nice that they were trying to find the owners!

We were promptly welcomed by staff at front desk, who were able to get us the ground-floor room that we wanted. Room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast had sufficient number of choices, including waffles and fruit.

PHENOMENAL STAFF! Such a clean and modern hotel with amazing staff that went above and beyond at every turn! Everyone from the front desk to the kitchen staff with their amazing breakfast was so hospitable! After a long day on the Ichetucknee River, we wanted nothing more than some deliciously good pizza and to relax at the hotel. The front desk gave us a wonderful recommendation for Sal’s Pizza and Deli that did not disappoint! It was just down the rode by about a half a mile and was so good! We stayed 2 nights and had no issues whatsoever with our stay. Our boys 8 & 11 very much enjoyed the clean pool while mommy & daddy enjoyed the fresh coffee in the lobby. We will definitely go out of our way to stay here again, if we are in the area!

We just completed a 4-night stay at the Home2Suites in Lake City. The staff - from housekeeping , to the breakfast attendant, to the two men at the front desk - were so friendly and offered amazing customer service!! I was highly impressed during the entire stay. The beds are so comfy and rooms are spacious. The breakfast is similar (maybe slightly smaller) than Hampton Inn breakfast options.

Indoor pool and amazing staff and property I would recommend to all family and friends about this property and my stay. Overall amazing stay with no issues and welcoming staff who treated me as family.

This hotel was absolutely perfect for our halfway stop from the panhandle to southwest Florida. It was extremely clean (and I’m SUPER picky about this), safe, comfortable, and the breakfast was small but AMAZING! I’d much rather have a smaller breakfast with hot items than a bunch of sugary pastries. This will be our pick from here on out when in the area. Excellent job, Home 2 Lake City!

Excellent hotel. I’m a germaphobe so I felt at ease staying there. The hotel is very clean and the front desk are very attentive and courteous, and the same goes for the cleaning crew. We were 5 and there was enough room for all of us. They have a fridge that’s the perfect size for the room not the tiny fridge. I was very happy staying there.
