I found my stay better than what I expected for the price I paid. Very clean and modern conveniences. Staff was very friendly. Disappointed in the “breakfast” that was supposed to be included. All there was was a coffee pot (I don’t drink coffee) and a pre-packaged package of a small sweet roll.

We tried to move the reservation, but the phone line into the hotel was always busy. Trip.com agent tried to call also and was not able to reach the hotel. Do not try to call this hotel as you will not be able to get any answer :(. Very unsatisfied with their service and was unable to stay at the hotel as booked for the wrong date.
So paid but unable to call to change date.

staff was very kind. we had already been to 3 awful motels in the immediate area, and Rodeway was so nice to us. they brought us extra towels, pastries, gave us a room on the side closer to the conference hotel. if i ever go back to lake city, i'm staying here.

I have stayed here for years! It is clean, comfortable and the staff is very welcoming. I call it home from home! It is conveniently located just off the highway and there are good restaurants close by. I highly recommend it!

DIRTY, construction noise, owner was RUDE! AND I even called the sheriff to have him stop the after hours construction in the VERY next room!!! owner tried to confront me in my room, would NOT stop the construction work in the next room/adjoining wall until I called the sheriff for a cease and desist!!!

My goodness how pleased we were to find this road side motel for the night, something was going on in Lake City and everywhere was getting booked up, we had been on a long road trip and not booked ahead thinking it would be easy to swing into town. Poor Gary on the front desk was inundated with a queue of customers and the phone constantly ringing. He was flustered but endlessly polite, apparently he’s. been here for 13 years so in our minds the company is lucky to have him. We had a room on the back so no problem with road noise at all, very comfortable beds and everything you could possibly need including a fridge and microwave. The location is pretty good if you want a quick meal at one of the myriad fast food places, we however drove a little further and found the most fantastic bar, Marianne Street Bistro and Brew House. All in all Lake City really delivered last night. Thank you Gary for helping us get into this comfortable bed for the night, you’re a legend.

4 lights mounted in the ceiling, only 1 was working (the one closest to the door). Front desk worker said the room was being renovated, but they never wired the 3 other lights. He brought us a desk lamp. This room should never had been made available to be rented.

The gentleman at the desk was very understanding and helpful. Room was very clean. No issues. Traveling home from Ohio long trip was nice to be able to stop for the night. Anxious to see what breakfast will be as some places are better than others
