The most amazing place. Home from Home. Food absolutely amazing and the staff could not do enough for us. Game drives were also amazing. Thank you Eugene for all the information and time you spent with us. We never felt rushed. Also thank you for making this experience affordable for Siouth Africans,

What an absolutely wonderful experience. From the game drives to the meals to the excellent attention given by the stall to us. I don't want to mention individual names in case I forget an individual but everyone, from the game guides to the chefs to the housekeeping staff (the invisible ones) deserve our praise. I could get used to this sort of treatment.

We had a lovely 3-night stay at Rooiberg Wild and would happily go back. It was a birthday weekend away, and the team went out of their way to make it feel special. A big thank you to the staff – they really went the extra mile with a few of our special requests, especially when it came to meal options for our little one, arranging picnics and even a crystal hunt. Much appreciated! The game drives were enjoyable with plenty of sightings and plenty of game around the lodge too. One of the highlights for us was being able to go on proper walks – no predators here, so you can explore a bit more freely, which was a big plus. That said, getting in and out of the property gate was a bit of a mission – something to keep in mind if you're arriving after dark or heading out often. It didn’t take away from the experience, but worth knowing in advance. All in all, a peaceful, relaxing bush break with great service, solid game viewing, and the kind of attention to detail that makes a stay memorable.

We really loved the attention given to our personal comfort! the meals were beautifully prepared and special attention was paid to my dietary requirements. The staff were efficient and friendly. Our game drive was interesting- the driver, Eugene, knowledgeable and efficient.

The perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life where one can recharge and relax in a very tranquil and calming setting. The staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive. The meals were beautifully presented and delicious. Our game ranger was extremely knowledgeable. The whole experience at Rooiberg Wild was excellent.

We had a lovely time at Rooiberg Wild. Our guides on the game drives, especially Eugene, knew so much about the animals and the various plants. Compliments to the chef! The food was spectacular. Our beautiful room completed the picture. Thanks, Rooiberg, for a wonderful stay!

We were on a road-trip and spent two wonderful nights at Rooiberg Wild, and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The staff are extremely friendly and efficient, they go the extra mile to assist the guests. Game drives were great fun, the guide was knowledgeable and did his best to ensure we saw everything available and also supplied us with drinks, coffee and snacks. Giraffe, sprinkbok, nyala, gemsbok, eland, roan, steenbok were all on view, pity we did not see any zebra! The food was fine dining! Perfect portions and a good variety of food. We highly recommend a visit to Roiiberg Wild!

Loved our couple of days here, the lodge is really hidden in the hills, rooms very comfortable and warm considering the very cold weather at times. Food superb, and staff so friendly. Enjoyed our game drives too, saw plenty of animals🦒🐐🦌 Would definitely go again.
