Hotel Hacienda Bugambilias la Paz

Great hotel! Very old but well maintained and very clean. Restaurant on property which is convenient. The only complaint would be the internet that was very slow at times causing tv to freeze. Overall it was a great stay

1. No hot water. 2. No coffee maker. 3. Restaurant staff not proving the correct meal. 4. Too far from town. 5. Surroundings too noisy.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is very clean, and the recently updated rooms are modern and well-maintained. It’s in a great location, just a short walk from the Malecón—we enjoyed walking there every evening. The hotel has a quiet, peaceful atmosphere, perfect for anyone looking to relax. The staff is polite and keeps a low profile, which adds to the tranquil vibe. There's also an on-site restaurant open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., offering delicious and affordable meals. If you're looking for a clean, quiet, and conveniently located hotel, this is a great choice.

This hotel is very basic at 100$ Canadian a night. We visited in March 2025. No English is spoken at the front desk. I have intermediate Spanish so we were ok. The only extra in the room is a phone. We had requested a fridge. No. We did get to store our drinks in the small fridge at reception. The pool is lovely as were the beds and pillows. There is a restaurant open for breakfast and lunch. We ate there the first morning and then ventured out the other days for better food. The air conditioning worked well but when on fan had an odor of urine!! Not pleasant. We reported it and they cleaned the filter I think and left the fluff from the filter all over my pajamas that were on the bed ! My friend got sick with a cold or allergies while we were there. We THINK it was related to the urine smelling air conditioner but not sure.

The staff were all helpful and friendly! The area was peaceful and serene, the pool area, front entrance and rooms were exceptionally clean! We would definitely stay here again!

December 2024 Stayed at the Hacienda Bugambilias for 10 days in early December '24 and enjoyed everything about this place! Very authentic, the staff were great and took care of our every need. Good food at the restaurant and slept great every night! Nice and quiet with off street parking! Highly recommend this Hacienda!
