The hotel itself is very beautiful and well-maintained, and the rooms are also lovely, but the quality of service is, at times, shockingly poor compared to the standard of the place. Although the poolside service is theoretically available, it never worked through the provided QR codes. Service at the bar is very slow, although we generally received beautifully made drinks — except for one occasion when a lady served us and quite obviously cut corners while making the cocktail. Out of the two dinners we had at the restaurant, one was fine, but the other was terrible: no one came to ask if we wanted to order for about half an hour, and even after that, they didn’t come on their own initiative. The buffet was very messy by the middle of the evening and was rarely replenished. At breakfast, everything was fine on the first day, but on the second day, there were long queues at the entrance, and half of the tables hadn’t been cleared. It was obvious they were severely understaffed — which is simply unacceptable for a five-star hotel.
