Arrived 45 minutes after check in. Was told my room was not ready yet and I needed to come back in an hour. Called Hilton 1800# to complain as I had been driving for 4 hours and didn’t want to spend an hour waiting in my car. They were ZERO help. Was also told that I was “lucky they hadn’t cancelled my reservation” because they had an old expiration date on my credit card and couldn’t charge it….for the $8.00 I owed for the room since I had paid for most of it with points. I’m an honors member. They have my cell number and my email address. They sent me an email to check in 24 hours before my stay, which I did. Not a single person contacted me to resolve the credit card issue?! The first thought they have is to threaten that my reservation was going to be cancelled???!! I don’t care if this is the cleanest, newest hotel I’ve ever stayed in, they get zero stars from me. UPDATE: After finally getting into my room, there was hair in the shower. Some in the drain, and several other pieces of hair throughout the shower floor. The shower could’ve used a serious scrubbing, but I at least wanted the hair removed. I had to go back down to the front desk to have the shower re-cleaned. The front desk attendant, Kenneth, was clearly and obviously annoyed at my request. The housekeeping staff were very friendly, though, and promptly cleaned the hair out of the shower while I left to get food. I only stayed one night, but I will not return to this hotel as that was more than enough.
