Thank you to Jenny, Jacob and Jackson. We booked a tour and a shuttle with Jenny, best price we found in town. Jacob and Jackson delivered our tour, we picked the most complete tour offered in the area. We did Waterfalls, Volcano hike, Hot-springs and Hanging bridges.

Jenny came through minute and saved our trip and planned a bunch of day trips within seconds. She went out of her way to accommodate our last minute timing. Absolutely amazing and I recommend her services to anyone. Through her, we booked waterfall rappelling, transportation around costa rica, and even found us some food in the local shops to ensure we made it to our activities on time.

The worst hostel I have ever stayed in. I was in a 4 bed dorm and it was small, old and dirty. The mattress had mould on it, the bathroom was thick with mould and old dirt, the walls were dirty. One tiny fan for the whole room which did nothing and the top bunk was unbearable I had to sleep on the floor - the room got so hot I couldn’t charge my phone as the phone said too hot. Outside the room was cooler, nice pool area but loud music so means you can’t sleep. I stayed in better hostels over a decade ago - this place needs updating and a deep clean. Also didn’t feel safe as anyone can walk in.

We didn't stay in this hotel; however, we did book our excursions with Jenny in the travel department. She was INCREDIBLE! After our own hotel totally botched our plans for our stay in Arenal, Jenny swooped in and booked several excursions for us within a few hours. Jenny is wonderful, caring, and very organized. She got our trip together and we had a wonderful time. Jenny personally called a tour company and arranged for additional transit time for us, as we'd be joining late. She even TOOK US SHOPPING around town on a whirlwind, last-minute errand to find us water shoes so we could go waterfall rappelling as the bus was on its way to pick us up! She took us around town to several stores so we could each find shoes the right size, and even found us a quick brunch so we could get some food along the way, then made sure she got us on our bus and off to our tour! Jenny is the best! Always use her services to book - she will find and book you amazing tours. Thanks so much, Jenny!

Clean, offers both solo and group rooms. Jenny and Gaby helped me so much with my lost luggage and got it shipped within three hours! They also offered me some affordable day trip deals. Nice bar too, has food and a variety of drinks.

I travel to feel, all that high you can get from new experiences, connections, knowledge. When along the way you meet people as Gabriela, Mariangel, Danny, working at the hostel and making you feel taken cared and at home, that can have a dramatic influence on how you feel about a new place, a new culture, your time abroad. I want to thank them and wish life wont ever change their raw kindness and spark ❤️ Besides the above which is the most important for me, the hostel is clean, confortable (with a swimming pool, bar, hammocks.. what?! such good value for money), well located, has a great breakfast if you want or plenty of kitchen aid if you want to cook, hooks you up with tours and actually their new website showing the tours is just fantastic (designed by Joseph, a really nice hostel 'coolaborator' that gave me soo many tips and info). What else.. a piece of my heart is still in La Fortuna and I know that wouldnt be the case if I hadnt have the luck to chose a place that made me feel so welcome and at home. A note for the USA lady working there, super sweet, that I very ashamedly forgot the name. Hopefully I will be able to come back one day!
