Nayara Tented Camp

what an amazing place!! The tented camp did not disappoint. From the moment you arrive you feel the warmth of the Costa Rican people. this is truly a special place. The tents and amenities are truly luxurious, and very comfortable. Beds, pillows, etc are top notch. We loved the spa, loved the thermal pools, some are too hot, and loved the activities in the area. So much to do. most of the food was excellent. we did have one bad meal at Asia Luna and do not recommend that location.

One of the best vacations we have ever had. The resort is beautiful. The food is excellent. The people and staff are so accommodating and nice. The excursions were fantastic. Don’t miss waterfall repelling. The spa was so peaceful. Walking the property we saw monkeys beautiful birds and a sloth. So much to do

This resort is literally paradise. Every single detail is perfect or near perfect. If you can afford to stay here, you should do so. I have not one even minor complaint from my stay. Food is amazing, staff are the friendliest people ever, the excursions and tour guides are top notch, and the views are astounding. Perfection.

I stayed at Nayara Tented Camps with my husband for our honeymoon. This luxury hotel is a once in a lifetime. There’s nothing that compares to the beauty of the volcano views, food from all the restaurants on site, buffet breakfast, or lovely service from the staff. Nayara had everything we needed with a special thanks to Allan and Christian at the front desk, the awesome bartender Jose (who served us welcome and departure drinks) and Wendy our amazing housekeeper. We loved happy hour at the pool and the wine bar tasting experience. Nayara is originally what attracted us to Costa Rica and we can’t say enough good things. We’ll certainly be back in the future!!

Wow! Beautiful accommodations, an incredible location, fantastic customer service: the Nayara Tented Camp has it all. We can't wait to go back. There is a lot to do on the grounds and it is close to La Fortuna where there are many incredible activities. It is hard to describe what stands out the most, but the staff (Mariela, Jean, Kenner, and others) went out of our way to ensure that our family had the experience we were hoping for. And, we did.

Nayara Tented Camp was absolutely amazing and far exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment you get on the premises there are friendly staff there to cater to your every need to make sure your stay is unforgettable. The golf cart drivers are helpful getting you to and from different locations throughout the resort as well as seeing hidden wildlife. There are several restaurants at Nayara offering different cuisine, helpful servers and delicious gourmet meals. The rooms are incredible and very well set up to feel like you have your own private retreat. The plunge pool was wonderful especially with the incredible view of Arenal volcano. Nayara offers diverse excursions with knowledgeable tour guides who quickly became our friends and gave us splendid experiences. The excursions were all so unique and breathtaking it’s hard to choose a favorite. Nayara made our 10 year anniversary so special and unforgettable we can’t wait to come back to visit!

This hotel has the best customer service I’ve ever experienced, hands down. The property is stunning and the food was incredible, but the customer service was outstanding. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff was attentive and willing to go above and beyond. Special shoutout to Jess, our guest liaison, who made this trip so special for us, and to Issac who handled our transportation. We can’t wait to go back.

We loved Costa Rica and Nayara Tented camp was the cherry on the cake. The resort is beautiful, the suites are anmazing and luxurious and the without exception all staff were so friendly and attentive. Food, especially breakfast was awesome. Really can’t fault this place. We even saw a sloth right outside our property. It’s very expensive but worth it. TIP Don’t miss the free frog tour.

This is a revised review - from 4 stars to 5 STARS! The original review had a 1 star deduction due to an issue with our pool, but management reached out to me directly and promptly resolved the issue. This is a testament on to their service and professionalism. Hence, why they really deserve the 5 stars! We stayed here for 3 nights and would have stayed longer, but there was no availability. In spite of max capacity, the place never felt crowded and you feel like you have the place to yourself. It's perfect for couples and families as well. Service was top notch from check-in to check-out. Luggage was taken into our tent upon check-in and loaded into our rental car upon check-out. Room service was great and the food was delicious. Rooms were quiet, spacious and clean with great views of the volcano. Kids loved the outdoor shower and the plunge pool. FYI - the water is heated, but can be cooled down if need be by calling the front desk. We even saw howler monkeys from the pool. We had a private breakfast at our tent every morning. Food at all the restaurants was great, but my favorite was at Ayla. The grilled octopus was so delicious that I had it twice! We did not get to try the Asian fusion restaurant, but plan on doing it on our next visit. We hope to stay here again soon!
