Enjoyable stay Really enjoyed my stay at Cocotier du Roche. Very friendly staff and owner, who were happy to help you and always with a genuine smile. Its location is a bit outside the “center” of the island, but l preferred it, as it was very peaceful and surrounded by nature. Would totally recommend it and stay again.

Super séjour Bungalow très agréable, très bien aménagé. Aucun vis à vis par rapport aux voisins. Le manager est très sympathique et très à l’écoute.

Don’t hesitate to stay here. Great stay. Stephan was amazing. He arranged everything we needed from transportation to restaurants and beaches, also with bicycle rental and even exchanging money. We stayed for two days and by the time we left I felt like I have made a great friend. Please don’t hesitate to stay here. He also arranged to have someone come and make us breakfast in the morning at our cottage which was very tasty. Omelette with vegetables and many fresh fruit and bread and fresh juice. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The cottages are cozy and comfy and the air works perfect. It’s a short bicycle ride to great take away spots for food. There is a 7-Eleven type store right at the entrance to the property. Wonderful stay.

The best in La Digue L'hôte a été génial avec nous. Un vrai sentiment de vacances. L'emplacement est génial car au milieu de tout. Donc l'accessibilité se fait en 15min en moyenne pour le Nord comme le Sud. C'est tres cosy et vraiment depaysant.

9 nuits à cocotier du rocher août 2022 Mille Merci à Stéphane et à son équipe pour leur accueil leurs conseils avisés et leur gentillesse.Nous avons passé un séjour magique sur la Digue malgré une météo bien capricieuse! Hébergement au top perdu dans son écrin de verdure en compagnie des oiseaux ! C’était relaxant, destressant , tout ce qu’il nous fallait ! Personnel aux petits soins, ménage des bungalows au top, absolument rien à redire !!!! Je recommande cocotier du rocher à 200 %. Note : 10/10

Hidden gem Very good stay, made it easier by Stephan the Manager/Front Desk. Surrounding area is a real nature reserve with a hotel inside, that’s how it feels. Recommend highly.

Erholung pur im tropischen Garten Die Anlage ist wunderschön in einem tropischen Garten gelegen. Jedes Chalet ist in einem eigenen Bereich angelegt und bietet dadurch Privatsphäre. Die Ausstattung der Küche stellt alles zur Verfügung, was man braucht. Der Zimmerservice ist sehr gut. Eine Aussendusche zur Erfrischung ist vorhanden. Fahrräder können im Hotel angemietet werden und ein kleiner Supermarkt ist gleich nebenan. Bis zur Stadt sind es mit dem Fahrrad 5 Minuten.

Great location on La Digue Cocotier Du Rocher is a great spot to stay on La Digue. 6-8 minute bike ride to the main village, and 15-20 minutes by bike to Grand Anse and Anse Source d'Argent. My room was very spacious with AC, ceiling fan and well-stocked kitchen. The grounds are really nice as well... definitely get the island vibe. Stephan was super cool and helpful. He hooked me up with bike rental, shuttle to/from the ferry, and even some laundry. Note: Try to book ferry in advance as it can fill up at peak times.

Quelques petites maisons dans un jardin tropical arboré et bien entretenu. Grande chambre meublée simplement, petite cuisine bien équipée et grande salle de bain. La terrasse comprend transats, table et chaise. Ménage quotidien. A 5 mn du port en taxi (150 SCR) ou 20 mn à pieds. L’établissement n’est pas en bord de mer mais sur la petite route intérieure. Les vélos (100 SCR/jour) sont indispensables pour rejoindre en 10 mn commerces et restaurants. Pour déjeuner, un bon Takeaway (Rey & Josh Cafe) en 5 mn à vélo. Pour le diner, restaurant Le Repaire, à 10 mn en vélo, réservation recommandée. Accueil francophone et chaleureux de Stefan. Un endroit bien situé pour rayonner à La Digue, à vélo bien sur !

Nous venons de passer 3 nuits à Cocotiers du Rocher dans un magnifique bungalow au coeur d'un splendide jardin luxuriant. Un véritable havre de paix verdoyant uniquement troublé par le chant des oiseaux de la jungle et autres creatures tropicales. Petit déjeuner copieux et agréable ! Une magnifique expérience que j'espère renouveler un jour. Merci à Stephan pour son accueil chaleureux et amical. Ce fût une parenthèse magique.

De ravissants bungalow dispersés dans un fabuleux jardin tropical avec terrasse, fauteuils et chaises longues. Un petit dej préparé et servi sur la terrasse à l’heure souhaitée ! Personnel adorable et Stéphane est un hôte attentionné et charmant ! Les vélos sont fournis sur demande. Des vélos électriques pourraient être utiles. Très bien situé proche des take away et des plages. Par contre ça monte et ça descend !! Faites la sortie à Anse Marron avec Gérard ou Stenio c est génial. Possibilité de laverie très utile. Geckos et autres chants d oiseaux à profusion. Un incontournable dans cette île merveilleuse !! Merci !

Super schöne ruhige Bungalows in einem tropischen Garten. Wir waren eine Woche dort und hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt und bietet außerdem viel Privatsphäre. Das Highlight war die Außendusche, diese war nach jeder anstrengenden Fahrradtour immer eine tolle Abkühlung. Der Inhaber Stephan war so super freundlich und hat einem jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Transfer und Fahrräder wurden super schnell organisiert. Auch das Frühstück, welches wir für einen Morgen gebucht hatten, wurde frisch zubereitet und war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Zwischendurch wurden uns auch frische Bananen aus dem eigenen Garten gebracht, darüber haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt und können das Cocotier du Rocher sehr empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

We came back exactly 10 years after we first visited. And I am so glad we did. Cocotier Du Rocher is located in a tropical garden that makes you relax and enjoy from the first moment. We felt like coming back to old friends we hadn't seen in a long time. The location consists of small houses that are fully equipped for self-catering, complete with kitchen, a big fridge, and all you need. Traveling with two small children, sometimes the rooms in normal hotels feel a bit small when needing extra beds. Not here, we had a king-size and two normal beds for the kids, and the big veranda including two sunbeds is perfect for a family. The nice bathroom including a walk-in shower, air conditioning, ceiling fan, and an additional outdoor shower completed the beautiful and clean house we stayed in. The location on the island is actually a secret plus. Essentially, you can get everywhere on the West Coast within 15 minutes by bike. So getting around is easy and quick, but at the same time, you might want to avoid the day tourist stream that moves from the port down to Anse Source d'Argent and back. If you stay a couple of days on La Digue, you might want to go to Anse Severe for the sunset, down to Grand Anse, Petite Anse, and Anse Coco, or go up the hill to Nid d'Aigle or the Veuve Nature Reserve and other locations. Cocotier du Rocher is almost perfectly located to get quickly to all these locations. Finally, Stephan and his team are always helpful and provide tips and suggestions to further enjoy this dream island. Stephan and his team are part of the island's community, and we felt that more than once when we ran into some small unplanned things while exploring the island. When people asked us where we were staying, they went above and beyond immediately to help us. We can absolutely recommend it.
