Resi Stay Nishiki arvostelua

Highly recommend this hotel for a family trip to Kyoto. We stayed in the family Room with 5 adults. check in took at nearby kyoto station with feeder van provided to accommodation.The location is great just fews steps from Nishiki markets and it is surrounded by many other restaurants and malls. It was only 7min walk to the Shijo station which was 2 stops away from Kyoto Station. The apartment is perfect for family. There are three beds on bedrooms and two futons on side living room . The bathroom is complete with function like warm room and drying room, it is great for us to wash and dry clothes. We felt so pleasant and comfortable on Resi Stay Nishiki for our trip to Kyoto.

Location

Property was super convenient being so close to Nishiki markets so we really appreciated that. The room itself was also relatively spacious but is really showing its age. The carpet especially looked so stained and the room had a really bad stench to it that we had to spray quite a bit of air freshener. Also we stayed on the ground floor and could hear everything (even footsteps) from the room above us, so don’t expect a quiet stay if you get the ground floor room.

My old boss used to say, "Love is in the details," and this place truly loved us. We traveled from Tokyo to Kyoto with our two kids (ages 12 and 9), the youngest of whom is o b s e s s e d with Sanrio. This room was a surprise for her. What almost blew it is that you check in at the main Resi Stay office near the train station (do yourself a favor and do the paperwork before you arrive to save time), and the van that drove us to the properly was EMBLAZONED with Hello Kitty on the side. Listen, if you don't go to Japan and drive around Kyoto in a Hello Kitty van, you're doing vacation wrong. The hotel is only 4 rooms on a quiet side street literally a one-minute walk from the market. And let me tell you, if you have a Hello Kitty fan in your party... THIS PLACE IS IT. It's clean, huge, and everything from the shower products to the ice cube tray under the sink to the kimonos to the toothbrushes to the hangers in the closet are on theme. There was a full themed gift bag, too! They even rigged up a hand sanitizer bottle to a high-hat cymbal in the main entry way so Hello Kitty can sanitize you on the way in. Note there is no staff on property, but when we had a question, we just called the main office. It's also walking distance to the Gion district and high-end shopping. Hot pastry tip: Since most of the city doesn't open up til 11, we were happy to discover that City Bakery is right near the closest entrance to the market down the street which opens at 8am and had incredible coffee and pastries and a delightful patio.

As others have said, this was a perfect place for us to stay while visiting Kyoto. We are a family of 4 (kids aged 10 and 15), and the room was the perfect size for us! The location is just 1/2 block from Nishiki market, with an overwhelming assortment of food stalls and gifts. It’s also very close to the main shopping street, bus lines, subway, etc. An ideal spot for exploring Kyoto! The price was quite reasonable, and the service from the Resi-Stay staff made the check-in experience very efficient. I would highly recommend Resi-Stay, and we will certainly stay here again the next time we visit Kyoto!

This place was perfect for the 3 of us. Lots of room to relax and a great bath. The interior design and Japanese room made the stay feel very Kyoto and the room has a bunch of natural light. Location is amazing, only a few steps to Nishiki market, there were a ton of great local food options really close and a little further to the bus stop. Only issue I had was they sent the check in instructions in Japanese so I missed that we needed to check in at a different location. I'm not sure how that happened but just be sure to find the check in location near Kyoto station before you go to the hotel.
