OMG, the view from our room at this villa was absolutely stunning, jaw dropping. Look! It was the street level room. A short stroll to UNESCO World Heritage site of St. Barbara Cathedral and to the historic town center. The restaurant was great, room was big and comfortable, and everyone at the Vila was so friendly and helpful. This was a highlight of our trip to the Czech Republic, including Prague. Unforgettable.

Fantastic stay in Kutna Hora! We stayed for 3 nights and were so pleased that we picked Vila U Varhanáře as it has the most beautiful view in the whole town! The location is perfect and a great base for exploring. We got the bus from the main train station which drops you off about 5 mins walk away which was perfect. The rooms are very basic and need a little love, but they also had everything we needed. For the price we were very happy, and the beds were very comfy. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was lovely and fresh and you can take it onto the terrace for a beautiful view in the morning. As a vegetarian, there was plenty for me to eat in the morning, although the dinner/ lunch menu only had one main (goats cheese salad) which was very lovely all the same. The local Kutna Hora beer was delicious and such good value! I would come back to Kutna Hora just to stay there and do some more exploring!

We enjoyed one night here, a couple and adult son. We were on the top floor, room 4 (I think), which has two rooms (split king and two twins), big bathroom with teeny shower and windows are too high and small for much view. There is no AC and we arrived on a very warm day. There were skylights that open and two fans which helped so it was warm for sleeping but bearable. You get one key and the door must be locked by key from the inside which made me nervous safety-wise. The restaurant has a lovely patio with great views and the dinner and (included) breakfast were good. You can store your luggage after checkout. The location is ideal, especially for the silver mine tour which is worth it (tour II into the mine, book in advance for a tour in English). But google maps tried to take us to down below the hotel which is perched up high. It made for an interesting drive thru the back alleys of town and then we called and got help from the hotel. The area in front is pedestrian but you can park briefly to unload and then move your car. We were able to find parking just up the street no problem on a Wed late afternoon in June. It was a great choice for us. Please like this review if you found it helpful.
