Resort Amanzi

The amenities and processes are very basic. For the prices they charge, the food laid out in breakfast and rest of meals are very basic. Like breakfast had idli, sambhar, poha and up-ma with one variety of fruit. Like counter for dosa and waffle. Our room was the one with private pool. When we reached there it had algae in it and by the time they got someone to come and clean it as per patch work, it was already 6. 30pm as a compensation we asked for a late checkout, the management was pretty adamant that they can't do beyond 12. Whereas the check in time for next guest is 2pm. They are under staffed and thus the services take a little too long and the whole communication is on cell phones as no in room phones available. At times network then becomes an issue.

My family and I had a wholesome experience at the Glass treehouse at Amanzi resort. We felt that one day at the property was sufficient to feel refreshed and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Here is a list of things that I liked and things that could be better. Things I enjoyed: - the glass treehouse villa was very spacious with a lot of different areas to sit, chat and enjoy the Pawna lake views. - The pool in the villa was an absolute delight and we were able to enjoy family pool time in privacy. - The staff delivered board games to our room and we were able to enjoy a game of Carom in the common area. - Rintu served us at all meals and he was very hospitable. - Room service was very quick. Things that could have been better (for a hotel of this nature and the price paid): - the food options were very basic. More options can be introduced. - Room amenities were also pretty basic. - Since the resort is in an isolated area, there were insects / ants in the terrace area and inside the pool but the staff quickly took care of it with sprays and pool net. - My biggest issue was the road to get to the hotel from Mumbai, and the Mumbai traffic did not make the journey any easier. But that’s not a reflection of the experience on the property. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and a good getaway to it the family. Come here if you would like to rejuvenate your senses for a couple of nights.

Personal Attention Personified. The experience right from the stage of Booking until Checkout was extremely pleasant. On arrival, everyone including the security guard at the main gate to the housekeeping staff had a smile on their face. The servers at the restaurant were extremely attentive and catered to every request promptly. The food spread of all meals was excellent. The entire property is designed exquisitely and the rooms are extremely cozy. If you are looking for a getaway from your daily hustle bustle, Amanzi is the place to be. Keep it up Team Amanzi, Will surely visit again.
