Location is nearer to the train station, rather than the main shopping area. However it is just a 15mins car ride to the city centre hence it is still convenient for us to travel around. Facilities are nice and clean and breakfast spread are quite a variety too.

Hotel was 15-20min ride away from the airport, not as close as I expected it to be. But they have free hotel shuttle to pick you to and fro the airport which is good. But bad thing is you will need to share the transport with other travellers and if they are late, you’ll have to wait for them. Room was spacious and relatively clean. However, we travelled in Jan and it was soooo cold even after turning on the heating in the room. The room’s heating has to be improved. It was even colder than the rooms we stayed in Harbin.

The hotel is very awesome! The heater working very well’ Bed was comfortable and was able to have a goodnight sleep! Even though I arrive late after a long day, the staff still managed to help me with my enquiries to ensure I got everything I want ☺️🙏🏻 Thank you for the great hospitality! Service was excellent as staff at Reception counter is able to understand English. Good customer attributes and with smiling and dedicated services. Even help me to fix problem on the coffee dispenser provided with compliments beside the reception counter. Location is strategic and near to Kunming. Room is extremely big and price is reasonable. Highly recommended. Will book again in my next trip

The hotel is not fancy but it is very clean and everything in the room is very technological. The bed is very comfortable and the bed linen, my God! Bedsheets We're so so soft!! They give you two bottles of water and they have a small kettle. Also, they will pick you up from the airport which is super convenient( I'm attaching the picture of the pick up point) In the morning though, I had to catch a flight at 10.50 but we left later than expected (at 9.10/15 due to some other guests being late (not thef hotel's fault obviously, but I was annoyed cos I had to rush through the terminal to avoid missing the flight) so I'd say, to be on the safe side, take your own taxi in the morning. All in all, great experience. Good value for your money.

It turned a quick transit into a highlight of my trip, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone needing a reliable, comfortable base near the airport.

Very nice hotel, with good location. Walking distance to the railway station. The breakfast was really good with a wide variety of Chinese food, cereal, breads and fried food. Definitely the best breakfast I had in china. They also have a robot that sends your food delivery to you, which was cool. The lady at the counter was also very nice and helpful. I didn't have a local phone number so I couldn't order food delivery, so she helped to order the food using her phone. And somehow I couldn't transfer so I had to use cash, but she didn't have any change so she paid the extra 2.80yuan. Really appreciate their service, top notch.

I must say that the best highlights of this hotel would be... Everything! It was walkable distance from the Railway Station, spacious room, convenient access to halal eateries nearby. Clean room & even the pedestrians walkways within the neighborhood. Thank you for hosting us! Definitely recommended hotel!

We had an excellent stay at Kai Wah, with a few instances really worth mentioning. Firstly, we had a super early flight and reached the hotel at 5plus in the morning. We checked in and wonder if we are able to check in for the stay at such early hours. Without needing to ask, the service staff immediately arranged a room for us to check in, even though the typical check in time is 2pm onwards. They understood that we were tired from the flight and quickly make arrangements so that we can get some rest. This is an exceptional service that illustrates understanding and care for their customers. Secondly, upon checking into the room, we observed that the toilet bowl was a little dirty and called the reception. Immediately, a service staff named 李星Jeff Li, came to our room and made arrangements to offer us a free upgrade to a suite. However, as we prefer a room that is not situated at the corner, we declined. He then made other arrangements on the spot and offered us another room. He even helped us to transfer the luggages. We needed some advice for the trip and he willingly and patiently offered us advice and assistance. His friendliness and patience with us really made our stay very pleasant. His professionalism and care for his guests are commendable. Finally, when we checked out, the service staff also warmly helped us with the didi booking to the right place. My mum was even given a scarf as little present, which really made her day. Breakfast was really good, huge variety and quality was good too. Suggest to include breakfast in your booking.
