Another wonderful stay at this lovely hotel in central Kunming. The hotel is stylish, the rooms and beds are comfortable, and the location cannot be beat. Amazing all around. Polly was an excellent manager, and took really great care of me. Highly recommended, I will come back again soon I hope.

I stayed at Cachet Boutique Hotel Kunming on 25–26 October and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located a little away from the main pedestrian street, but the area around it has plenty of lively bars and cafés that attract a younger crowd — great if you enjoy a vibrant atmosphere. The hotel itself was clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed. I was really impressed by the stylish decor, quality amenities, and the spacious room layout. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive a free room upgrade, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Checking in/out was fast and hassle free. As an additional benefit, the hotel is located 10 minutes from the train station. Overall, it’s excellent value for money — I’d definitely recommend Cachet Boutique Hotel to anyone visiting Kunming who’s looking for comfort, style, and a touch of local charm.

A well located hotel, only a short stroll to the main shopping and tourist areas. The rooms are spacious and clean, providing good value. Breakfast has a good selection of options including enough to satisfy western preferences.

The hotel is located slightly farther from the Nanping Pedestrian Street, but it’s still within a walkable distance to the nearest shopping center at Joy World. There are also several bars and cafés right across the street where you can unwind. The room itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, and I even received a complimentary upgrade.

Really nice. They speak English whivh was helpful. Kevin waa super nice and funny. I loved the room. The space decor ams bathroom.

Very nice hotel with big rooms. Rooms have been refreshed, toilet bathing area could be slightly better though. Comfortable bed. New looking room. Even allowed us to check out late upon request.

Love staying the hotel as usual. This is my second time staying there. The staff are so friendly.

Location was walking distance to the ancient part of the city and shopping malls. It is also surrounded by arty chic galleries and bars. The hotel itself has a German-themed bar and a lively vibe at nights. There are also historic temples and museums nearby. It would add to the experience of guests if the staff are given better training about hospitality- simple things such as greeting guests, smiling, and not making guests feel that they are an unwelcome imposition when assistance is requested

We stayed in the Cachet Hotel for three nights in September 2025. The location is very convenient. It has many cafes and eating places nearby. It is not noisy although it is in the heart of town. The room design is modern and comfortable. Their staff are very helpful and gave us lots of support when we stayed with them: Polly, Ivy, Tony, Liman. They are all very professional and patient and they go the extra mile to help us for each of our requests. We were very impressed.

The hotel was situated in a artsy and cool area where there are a few hipster bars around the corner. It’s near convenience stores and 700m away from a big mall where you can get a lot of things. The rooms were spacious and the amenities were decent. I would stay here again.

staff were very helpful and responsive. the snack and drinks bar ar the lobby added a nice touch! multiple bars, coffee shops and eateries nearby

Very nice hotel, clean and the service was good. We ordered food from the hotel restaurant and they brought it to our room and then they came to pick it up.

Staff are very nice  and professional, they offered extra mile service to customers, special front desk staff Polly , she helped us beyond her jobs with her excellent knowledge to make our stays very comfortable, I will recommend to all my friends if they come to Kunming .
