Kufri Holiday Resort

I stayed at cottage, the room was spacious but in old style. Cottage not recommended for old people as no lift facility and you have to climb the long stairs. Otherwise it’s a good family resort. Food is quite good but expensive.

Very comfortable stay. Specially the gentleman who served us in the restaurant every morning. He must be appreciated

We had traveled to shimla in Dec.15. Out of our two days plan we have choose to stay at Kufri Holiday Resort for one night. We are family of 8 persons including elders and child also. Kufri is good sight seeing location of Shimla and all tourists visit there. Kufri Holiday resort situated at highest point of Shimla and around 23-25km from Shimla. Horse riding you can get from the resort front itself. We have found lot of snow in resort even walk from reception to room also having snow path. We got 3 rooms in their old building which have common balcony. About Room: Rooms are bit old type and need maintenance. Bathrooms are as good as of normal deluxe room with bathtub(In winter nobody can use that:)) Hot water timing are 6.00 to 11.00 in morning and evening only. Rooms having heater of old type(No central heating- normally in such location it will not work). Room Balcony having amazing view of himalaya ranges and snow hills. Hotel having main building having reception restaurant and rooms which don't have balcony. other category are of cottages which are at bit height. During our morning walk we found lot of snow around cottages. In shimla you can found snow in kufri only and even this holiday resort is better for view compare to kufri sight seeing which tourist visit by horse riding. We are lucky enough that hotel had arranged Camp fire and DJ that night. we enjoyed a lot. I will surely recommended to at least stay for one night during your visit to shimla. As in shimla you will never have such experience. over all it was good experience and enjoyed a lot!! But still it is gap to improve services and food.

View from cottage was awesome. Cottage was neat and clean. Washrooms were also hygienic. Staff was cooperative too.

If you want to feel nature amidst nature, then come here. The courteous staff, superb service, food and hospitality will make you smile. One of the best Nachos with cheese you get here. Superbly decorated with samplings and plants, the floral decoration is just beyond imagination

Lovely location but average room condition. Lot of levels for rooms and resturant... Only fit and young people can think of this place ... Dark pathways to walk .. need more lights. Cottages need to be renovated...,.... Food was good, staff is warm and helpful,..............
