"Kudat Riviera is a beautiful location with an amazing beach, wonderful sunsets and staff that are most attentive. We had the privilege to stay at Casurina Palms. The villa is a huge space built in a Balinese style,with beautiful furniture and a well equipped kitchen if you wish to cook for yourselves ( we didnt!) Breakfast was served each morning with a choice of Western or Asian choices, we tried both and enjoyed both equally!. We opted to dine in the villa in the evening and the food was delicious and there was enough to feed an army, let alone the 4 of us. The beds were so comfortable with luxurious bedding and towels supplied. The pool was a safe haven to swim after the strong under tow on the beach in the morning. The beach at Kelambu is a hidden gem and feels totally private as there is nobody else on it. I recommend Kudat Riviera as one of the best places to stay in Borneo!"

"We stayed at the Sabah Sunset Villa and even though it rained when we arrived (staff welcomed us with umbrellas in the parking lot) we were blown away from the beginning. The villa is really spacious, beautiful interior with attention to detail, lovely pool and very well equipped for everything you need. The breakfast was great with different Western and Asian options. You can cook yourself or the staff will prepare a great meal for you. I thought at first that it's a bit pricey for Malaysia but it was definitely worth it, all dishes were delicious and plenty. All of the staff including the booking team are great, helpful and super friendly. Definitely recommended! Only one small thing, as there is water to refill and glass bottles in the rooms, maybe get rid of the bottled water to decrease plastic consumption."

"Two friends & I attended 5 days yoga retreat during Easter Holiday 2025, reasonable room rates, which includes 3 vegan meals daily, yoga class & 1 hour body massages, Sunset yoga outside, free car drop on/off to small town. The most important that, a calm place there, nice staffs & dogs there, provided difference meals every days, all meals were yummy & healthy. Friendly dogs too, welcome barking, they joined our yoga class, very funny!"

"Beautiful view, perfect for photography. It's just that the condition of the room may be a bit old, the first hut we stayed in had an aircond problem, it wasn't cold. And there is a smell of mice that indicates that the hut has been inhabited for a long time. But we were moved to another hut that smelled less of rats and was more clean, only the toilet part had cracks on the floor. The position of the hut is close to the forest. Where there are only two families in that part, we entered. So it's a bit scary too. If the hut is close to the loading area, there is no problem because there are many people. It's just that the new year experience is best because there are fireworks. For those who want to stay here, it's better to have a snack as there is no restaurant. Breakfast or lunch delivery to hut and there are only 3 menus. Thanks"
