The service staff are very helpful and polite. Plenty of food and convenience store within short working distance. Rooms are small but sufficient space to be comfortable. Hotel is supporting go green effort.

Great locstion. Can walk yo most tourist places in the city. Lots if street food and restaurants around the corner. I recommend eating in the hotel as food was hot and tasty and affordable. All staff from Reception yo restaurant were extremely kind and helpful. I'd definitely stay there again.

A great place to stay I am so impressed by this hotel! The manager is available via WhatsApp and kindly supplied some tea packets and a lovely mini card as I wasn’t feeling well upon arrival (and a cute little teddy bear keychain!) The staff is cordial and smiley. The room and bathroom is immaculate and the shower EXCELLENT!! Great water pressure and easy to turn on and off to save water. There is only sink soap missing. I love the hotel is trying to be eco-friendly with plastic bottle and aluminium can recycling in the lobby (just wish they added paper too and plastic wasn’t just limited to bottles). But also love there are no mini shampoos or conditioners as that’s not eco-friendly but there is a lovely big container of shampoo-body wash. Wifi was decent for video and photo upload but not great for video calls on Zoom (for work). But excellent for workout apps like Peloton. I’m also super grateful the AC is not right above the bed like in most places. So it stays cool but not freezing in the room. Comfortable bed and ample pillows. Quiet too (room 301). Big curtains to block out the light. The location is about a 15 minute walk to the old centre and waterfront, and I greatly enjoyed my walk back and forth to each day. If you stay in the old town, you miss the great Chinese restaurant by the hotel and also TopSpot seafood buffet. I do wish they added a top sheet instead of just having a duvet. Would defo recommend this place!! Also the breakfast is a mix of Western and Malaysian options.

We have stayed at The Lime Tree Hotel on 4 occasions and used it as a base for our stay in Sarawak. We received a warm welcome from TEO on the reception desk when we checked in and were made to feel most welcome. In fact all the reception staff were friendly. The manager Julie was lovely and a regular presence in the reception area and was extremely helpful. We had a 2 day trip to Bako, and it was lovely to return. We then had a 3 day trip to Batang Ai and really appreciated returning here. Finally we visited Tanjung Datu for 3 days and returned today. Great to be back. Sadly this is our last stay before heading to Mulu and then Sabah. We were able to leave our main luggage here when going on our Excursions to the National Parks. It was kept safely in storage until we returned. The rooms were spacious, with a nice powerful shower to refresh ourselves. If you ask, a fridge will be made available to you to keep your water nice and chilled. The breakfast was very enjoyable with plenty of choice. It is only a 15 minute walk from the waterfront, and has plenty of shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Best of all, it was incredibly good value. You can pay significantly more to stay at The Waterfront, which is very grand, and has 5 reception staff and porters, but I suspect its far more impersonal. I would prefer to return to this Hotel for any future visit. It felt like a home from home. I would highly recommend this Hotel.
